Food was good! Location has essentially zero seating so plan to take out. Prices were reasonable, staff was friendly.

Chicken was amazing. I prefer it over the other standard chains. I got the roasted potatoes as a side and they were cooked and seasoned perfectly. I will say it is a tad bit over priced but you get excellent food. We didnt wait long at all.

It's okay. The chicken itself tasted good and wasn't overdone but the breading was a bit heavy and lacking flavor, maybe put some more spices in, would be my suggestion. And it is a bit too much money for what u get. $23 for 5 piece and 2 biscuits seems a bit high. Honestly I'd rather go to KFC at this point. Room for improvement

Chicken was really good! Classic southern fried goodness. The biscuits are also classic. It's higher priced than most places but well worth it. Be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes when it's busy.

Truly great chicken! Unfortunately that's where the praise ends. Poor service, inconsistent sides and gravy leave it all feeling a bit overpriced. If you are looking for excellent fried chicken and don't mind waiting 10 to 15 minutes on top of your pick up time/15 to 20 minutes wait for a walk in, while still paying a premium price for the pleasure, then this might be your special treat on cheat day.

Food was amazing, portions were plentiful and the prices were good for the quality of food. The chicken was cooked to perfection, nice and juicy with lots of meat on the breasts. The sides were good as well, we had the roasted potatoes, coleslaw, corn and bean salad, and biscuits. For 4 people it cost $60 and there was plenty of food leftover.

C&C 's name is mentioned everywhere following the news of the owner winning a Canada wide cooking competition. With that hype, we visited and bought 15 pieces of fried chicken and gravy.
What we liked. The chicken texture and the use of spice was spot on. What we didn't like. The thick batter making the chicken hard. I had to remove the batter to eat the chicken.
We paid $50 for the chicken and gravy, $30 if bought from the colonel. This affects my rating given the price is much higher.
Finding a parking spot was a problem. Wait time was a concern. We waited for 15 minutes for our order but by the time we left, we heard the wait time was 30 minutes.
Give it a try. 3 family members prefer C&C over the colonel, 2 like the colonel better.

Really good chicken! We got a fried chicken meal, and it was crispy and flavourful on the outside, and juicy on the inside. There share was also fantastic. We didn't got fries and gravy. Typical fries for a joint like this. The gravy was an ok flavour, but not nearly salty enough. I think I'd do it next time. Service was also friendly, but it was pretty quiet in there. Could have been a bit more lovely and inviting, but not really anything to complain about. I will be going back.

Came here to support Chef Gomez on Top Chef Canada. Really wanted to love this place, maybe my high expectations soured my own experience in that this fried chicken and biscuit wasn't to die for and too pricey for me to return. I'm sure Chef Gomez is creative and know food and I would pay good money for her custom creations and menu personally catered by her.

Great chicken! The corn and bean salad was very good but overall you're going to pay more for quality over quantity. Smaller portions for sure. If you want a lot food, try the other place. But if you want crunchy, juicy, quality chicken come here. It's clean, the staff are great and the overall atmosphere paired, with high quality ingredients, makes this a nice summer evening stop. Seating outside, otherwise, its takeout.

A great change up if your a cotw lifer like myself. The chicken has a unique flavor unlike any other fried chicken in Calgary. Cookies taste fantastic. It's also pretty cool they offer old fashioned styled pops as this reminds me of the good old days visiting my grandparents in Winnipeg drinking pick a pop.

The chicken is pretty decent. When people were raving about this place, I expected more from it. I didn't like their potatoes, but their chicken made up for it. Also their corn bread was delicious. I enjoyed eating that.

    The food also decently priced.

The staff there are okay. Not bad people.

It's an order and pick up place. There's no area to sit down at.

I would come here again for some quick food.

The meal (chicken, buttermilk biscuits, gravy and coleslaw) was SCRUMPTIOUS! The sweet gal behind the counter in the back even asked what type of meat/pieces I preferred. It is pricey but it is top quality tender meat and SO flavourful. To all the people who say it's to salty give your head a careful shake, it's GOOD down home fried chicken with a lot of flavour and authenticity. I am very picky. This place is a good local, true to form business. I am a healthy eater but the Cluck 'n Cleaver is my # 1 indulgence for life. My dog loves the gravy left overs, so paws up from him as well :)

I want to really like this place but their food continues to be over-salted. The actual chicken meat is too salty so I suspect they have the salt ratio off in their brine or they brine for too long. The last time I had their fries they were showing signs of improvement but still very salty. With so many other very good chicken choices I have a hard time justifying choosing these guys.
