Food was delivered in half the time quoted and was hot and very fresh. Cooked to perfection and flavourful. I'll order again.
One of the best chinese place in town. quick takeout
Had not been to the Chopstick House in a couple of years, but decided to try it when I was in the area. It always had great food, but the food I got on Friday was horrible. Ordered six different items for the family and all were not edible. Called to complain and basically was told tough luck. Would not recommend!
I have never been so disappointed. I ordered Pad Thai. It was basically soup and it was nasty. The struggle I'm having is I tried to return it and get a refund but they refuse. Not to mention the language barrier. Which makes it almost impossible to get what you actually want. The food here isn't fresh. It's re heated and nasty. Watch out
Disappointing: the new owners have not kept up with the Chopstick tradition. It's obvious that the food is brought in and just reheated, instead of fresh. My "online order" was apparently not received, yet my food was ready within 3 min of walking in the door? It was clearly flash fried, except the "fried rice" which was simply rice with veg (until I fried it at home). Not even close to the quality it used to be. Definitely not worth the $$$ any longer.
let me put it this way5 years ago, if I called on New Years Eve at 4:30pm to place an order for pickup, I'd be told to expect it around 9-930This past New Years Eve, I called at 430pm and had it on my table by 6.portion sizes have gone down hill, quality has gone down hill - when I asked about the rice the menu said came with the sesame seed chicken the girl laughed at me. So many mediocre chinese places in this city it's best to avoid garbage can hole in the wall like this one.
I wish I could give 0 stars. Do not eat here. Took 2 hours to get our order, and when it did finally get here it was disgusting! The pad thai isn't even pad Thai, the noodles were dry, all stuck together in a clump & tasted like fish, with a tasteless sauce and 3 pieces of uncooked broccoli. This meal isn't worth a penny let alone $10. I can't believe this place is still in business.
I used to love the Chopstick house, but was very disappointed with the quality and taste of the food. I ordered some old favourites, "Chicken Soo Guy" is no longer "home made" - just some prefab coated chicken fried in old tasting oil. The egg roll was mushy and the fried rice wasn't even fried! It was like "steamed rice" with soy sauce with added frozen peas and carrots. It was awful, and way over priced. I need a new Chinese spot.
