I needed some buckwheat honey for my little guy who had a really bad cough and I came home with more than just honey! Lovely place with friendly staff and huge selection. Definitely worth the drive from Calgary!

I love visiting the Honey Company. They've got great products & the staff is very educated! I love visiting the "indoor bees" & seeing them hard at work! Amazing! I always leave with new items to try & love everything I've ever bought there!!

Went for a bachelor party in the Spring and they let us sample all of mead they had! Great experience and welcoming staff. All the mead was delicious. Highly recommended.

Pulled in off the road sign. Didn't do the tour but the store was cute and fun to poke around in. A nice array of products with very reasonable prices. Very friendly staff.

neat gift shop, excellent meadery, and a real live honeybee hive right in the store (safely behind plexiglas). It's super cool being able to get so close to the bees and watch them protecting their queen, cleaning the honeycombs, feeding the larvae, and doing their pollen dance. Honey samples were a treat.

Worth a quick stop on the road between Okotoks and Black Diamond. They have a selection of locally produced honey and even mead for tasting and sale. Plus you can see bees in action, up close.

The gift shop was nice, staff was very friendly. The "tours" were informative talks, not walk around. Visit the Big Rocks too if you have never been to the area. The Big Rocks are near by.

Unique. Drive from Calgary is far, I do wish that the actual tour was more interactive. I had my niece and nephew down for the week and thought it would be pretty cool to go see some bees in action. The Tour was more of an informative talk (classroom setting) , I thought we would actually see how things are done on a walking type tour. To say the least the kids eyes were glazed over and there were other kids that seemed bored as well. I wasn't overly entertained. Apart of me feels like the drive wasn't worth it, but I did enjoy the gift shop the did have some pretty cool products. It was good for the kids to see some bees through a glass container built in the building. Our presenter seemed well educated, and knew her material. Over all it was a good experience.
