Has a lot of good books to choose from. Nice atmosphere and you can stay here for a few hours coz they have Starbucks inside. :)

Great hours and a nice place to shop for anyone. Meet up for coffee with friends upstairs or lose yourself for hours looking at books. Always have unique items on display.

The staff was excellent with helping me find what I needed. The store is kept very organized and clean. It was very nice to have a good sized bookstore to go to while in town for work.

We went in to find a book for my daughter. When asked a staff member I got the brush off. Took at least 10-15 min to find someone else to help us, she was very kind. They should maybe take a look at the staff. I just don't think some of them just don't want to be working at Chapters. That's Just the feeling I get. It wasn't the first time it's happened.. .

Lovely little book store that offers something for everyone, or a lot for everyone lol
My go to place to buy books! I like how there's a Starbucks inside as well! Along with books they have desk stuff: notebooks, pens, organizers, candles, journals etc

A beautiful clean store. Lots of parking. Not the greatest selection of books. Chapters seems to stock only the "top selling" titles.

ORIGINAL 1 STAR REVIEW (see below for update)
Beware Chapters misleading advertising on-line and in-store. I spotted a sale item on-line today (a lap desk), and noted that the item was available for purchase on-line or in-store. I decided to save myself the shipping cost and go to the store. I found the item on a table marked 'SALE', and while the item had clearly been used (there were coffee stains in the cup holder), it was the only one on the table. However, when I tried to purchase it, I was told by the cashier that there are often differences between the prices advertised on-line and in-store, and that even though the item was advertised on-line as being on sale, and had been on a 'SALE' table, it was in fact not on sale.
I escalated this through a second employee who consulted the manager, and they still refused to honour the sale price. Extremely disappointed!

UPDATE
I submitted feedback to Chapters through their website and was subsequently contacted by the store's General Manager. There was no acknowledgement that the website was misleading, but he apologized and offered me the item at the reduced price.

It's a Chapters. Some of the staff are over-zealous. All the new stuff is overstocked, but there's less selection than private stores. I like that there's a Starbucks, and all the non-book merchandise that's fun to browse.

I was pleassntly surprised to learn Chapters isn't just for people who know how to read good. I found some excellent cocktail glasses and drink mixers before heading to the adjoining Starbucks for a coffee to mix with my Baileys. Mmmm. I'm getting thirsty just thinking about it!

Great selection of books from all genres. Starbucks upstairs so you can sit and read you new books with a fresh coffee and a over all enjoyable astethic. The piano upstairs is a nice touch and occasionally you hear people playing some interesting tunes.
