Avoid this location. I booked a room 41 days in advance and decided to cancel the booking that same day. the B+B website indicates a 7 day cancelation policy. The proprietor, Robert, refused to refund the booking stating some unspecified computer issue that doesn't allow a VISA refund. (Nor was any email booking confirmation received) The proprietor now claims that VISA services will keep their percentage regardless, and there will be no full refund (among other excuses) Five star comments are very likely written by the establishment. Other comments confirm a history of similar behavior. Also an inspection of the location confirmed very poor quality, strange smells etc.

Avoid this place like the plague. It is awful. I was greeted at the door by the proprietor with his shirt unbuttoned, and he frequently rubbed his bare belly while showing me around the "bed and breakfast". This is a B&B only in the sense that yes, you will pay for a bed, and yes, you can eat breakfast there.
The bedroom was four white walls, two uncomfortable, smelly twin beds, a tiny lamp and a ragged dresser. The bathroom was disgusting, and the pipes rattled obnoxiously anytime someone used them. The photos of the rooms on this site look nothing like the room I was given. Instead, look at those photos and picture what the room would like in a flop house where the only cleaning done is a quick vacuum pass and a bleaching to remove any visible stains.
The breakfast part of this deal was a small, dingy kitchen with a fridge filled with eggs, milk and bread that you make yourself. Technically it's breakfast. I've had better breakfasts come in foil wrappers soda cans.
Is this worth $70 a night? Hell no. I didn't stay the night and instead went on priceline and found a 4 star hotel in downtown Vancouver for $100. I had originally booked four nights in advance and soon cancelled the reservation. When I called the proprietor, he seemed amenable to the cancellation and didn't tell me about any fees, minimums or extra charges. Today I check my credit card charges and see that they did give me a small refund, but still managed to charge me for 3 nights. Needless to say, I now have to deal with this dispute.
Do yourself a favor and sleep in a ditch before you pay for this place.response / report this review -
