  These people are superb. I dealt mostly with the owner Dave, and the workers Ariane and Jacob.
  
  Dave spent hours of his own time on weekends and evenings consulting with me over some vermiculite leaks in the ceiling of an old house.
  
  What could have been a stressful experience was defused by Dave's knowledgeable and practical approach. Their workers arrived to clean and seal the leaks, which I followed immediately with my own arranged carpentry.
  The workers (Ariane and Jacob) were the kind of people who could be successful in any industry, given their can-do attitude and people skills. They were flexible in their dealings with my arranged carpentry work, which was great.
  
  Jacob got the areas cleaned and sealed so efficiently! Ariane also did this efficiently, and was absolutely masterful with a caulking gun- she applied at least 100 lineal feet of caulking in difficult areas in hardly any time, with the results as neat as a pin. In fact it was so good that it looked like the caulking was part of the original house (and I've seen some very messy caulking beads done by other companies!).
  Together these 2 absolute pros finished the job in a single day.
  
  Kyle kept the team well-supported, and Jenn in the office scheduled it all, including the unmarked vehicle that I had requested.
  
  We got the all-clear by an air quality test from AREC the next day, and now we don't have to worry about this situation anymore. Eventually, we will have all of the vermiculite removed when it comes closer to a time to sell this house. We won't hesitate to use this team again.
  
  Bravo again to everyone involved. Dave, and the entire team- you guys rock!

  I operate a design and manufacturing business, so my work often finds me in dealings with CEO's as well as a plethora of small business owners. Lately, I've also found myself having dealings with multiple trades-people and trades-companies as I refurbish a 1959 house from top to bottom (and beyond). Canadian HAZ-MAT Environmental, its employees AND its owners, are by far some of the most professional, competent, compassionate and decent people I've ever dealt with, in ANY field. Dave and his team are exceptional at all that they do, and I would recommend them to both family and friends with 100% confidence. I think the best way to sum up my impressions of these amazing people is to say that they actually treat their customers as if WE were THEIR family or friends, and that quality is a rarity and a gift. One day, I mistakenly believed that a couple of workers had made a poor decision during their work on the house, and I became quite upset. The workers were upset too as in fact it DID appear they had indeed made a mistake. Dave showed up in 5 minutes, assessed the situation calmly and rapidly, and discovered that no mistake had been made at alland he was rightand my apologies to him and his crew were graciously accepted without hesitation. Here's the text I sent him that evening, as this also sums up my feelings about this company: "You're just a great man, Dave, in our books. That wasn't in question for even a fleeting moment today prior to your arrival, and not surprisingly, your excellent presence and demeanour shone through once again when you came by (within minutes!). I'd be hard pressed to have more respect for how you conduct yourself as a person and as a business owner.". Thank you Canadian HAZ-MAT Environmental, for all that you do and all that you are. I am most grateful.

  Dave, of HAZ-MAT Environmental, ranks highly as one of the most compassionate humans I've encountered in my 78 years. It’s unfortunate but as an old person, and a woman, I have at times experienced a lack of respect and a propensity towards dishonesty amongst certain tradespeople. Dave, on the other hand, AND his entire team, exemplify the highest standards of customer service and their integrity is boundless. Thank you, Dave.
  
  A scary and stressful experience with asbestos in my home was eased, time and again, by Dave's caring, his skill and knowledge, his meticulous dedication to providing an asbestos-free home for his clients and his reassurance.
  
  A laboratory with a reputation for being the most stringent in their demands gave us complete air clearance following the clean-up process provided by Dave and his excellent team. I thank all of you. I'll not forget the outstanding service you provided.
