A great get a way for a single, couple or family. Lots to do every day of the week or just sit back read a book on the 1200 food beach in thier provided beach chairs or take a hike along the bush hiking trail. As well take a ride on Tootie the train.
Then head head up to the store for great ice cream.
Can't say enough of this great camp ground.
Sites are bigger than most, bathrooms/showers are always super clean. Lots for the kids to do. We go every civic holiday weekend
We had a wonderful week at Campers Cove. The campsites are a nice size and level, which made it so easy for trailer set up. There was lots for the kids to do (awesome beach, movie night, nature trail , playgrounds and lots of room to ride their bikes). The general store and ice cream were a hit too! The washrooms/showers are the cleanest I've ever seen at a campground. Overall, we had an amazing experience at Campers Cove. It's our new favourite place to stay.
Transient camping, very clean park, with good activities. Family camping environment. Friendly staff and big rig friendly. Security rounds. Washrooms immaculate, roads, entrance very well kept. Good location if you want to venture into towns or locate sites. open camping style, big lots,, my only caution, few treed separation between campers; if you end up near 'intersections' the street light pole shine on your site very very brightly all night, nice to walk around, but having a campfire under street lights was disappointing for us. Overall though nicely kept clean park and well run park.
This place was very friendly and well maintained. Lots of tall old trees give it a very cozy atmosphere. People were very friendly, both staff and seasonal campers. Lots of washrooms that are cleaned regularly and in good repair. The beach area is lovely. Several playgrounds for the kids and even one specifically for the little kids.
They have lots of activities for kids and adults. Prices in the store are reasonable and not hyper-inflated like in some camp stores.
I was very happy with the experience and would be happy to return.
Very friendly staff and excellent atmosphere. Lots of various camping modes - tent, RVs, Cabin - regular and premium. Those who have dogs are happy to be here as number of campers had their dogs. it's rather a neat place and will visit again.
We were late arriving and they called to see if all was well, I thought that was pretty cool. When we arrived the security guy helped us shoehorn our trailer in. This was somewhat unfortunate because when reserving we told them we had a big rig and they gave us one of the smallest lots in the place. Beautiful beach.
The beach was soo much fun, we collected a lot of shells!
This is a quiet family campground. The group that didn't want to camp stayed at Now That's Cozy just outside the campground.
Children can bike independently. The Icecream Shoppe was a hit and there is a recently opened new restaurant "Renny's" that I am told is getting rave reviews.
Love the campgroundlove the location.clean bathroomsLots of trees and shade. People are friendly and grounds are well maintained. They have a lovely beach, however please take note; it appears an algae bloom is occurring at this present time all along the beachline. I still see people swimming but the water is full of green and yellow particals of vast amounts, so I will pass due to the yuck factor. Also I dont know if its safe. I will end this review with the security is awesome here. A great place to come and relax and take in the local sights.
Very friendly and helpful staff who were willing to accommodate my needs.
Very good location along the lake, not far from Leamington at all.
Those who have permanent trailers in the campground are friendly enough.
Only negative is that there's an oil well in a field nearby that makes a "chug-chug-chug" sound at night that can be felt when sleeping on the ground. But once you're over that, it can be a good source of white noise.
