I don't usually do reviews but was very disappointed first with the service, had to keep flagging down the waitress. She took our order. I ordered what I thought was a prawn ravioli appetizer but apparently they have the same dish as an entree so the waitress just assumed I wanted the entree at 3:00 in the afternoon. I also got charged for an extra drink that I neither ordered or received. $52 for a lunch is a little over-priced. Won't go there again!

Great service! Great food! Excellent atmosphere and community! Absolutely love the lettuce raps. Consistently have had Caroline as a server and I’ve never had better service from a waitress at any restaurant!

Seriously unimpressed with my last experience at the Cactus Club Langley location.. First I order a regular virgin Caesar muddy and specifically clarify that there will be no horseradish because I do not want horseradish. The server brings me a short "signature Caesar" which does contain horseradish. I simply express that I would like a new tall regular virgin Caesar due to horseradish in the current one she goes and brings me the same one back in a tall glass. When I say for another time there is horseradish and I would like a traditional Caesar the server goes on to ARGUE with infront of my family that "non of their Caesars contain horseradish" when I ask the girl to talk to the bartender and make me a traditional one, she walks away making one last super inappropriate remark saying again "none of their Caesars have horse radish" I finally receive a virgin traditional and there is so much tobacco no one at my table would be willing to drink it. I was not into arguing with the lady anymore so I left it full on the table and didn't drink it. Our server didn't not run our food or take our payment and it was not busy in the restaurant. We were left without being quality checked for 10 minutes and many of us were waiting to eat our meals with salt and pepper. No one noticed I didn't drink my Caesar or offer to take it off the bill, so I paid for it and decided to write this review. Jenny N was our server

My first experience to this restaurant yesterday was rather poor, but I decided to come back to give it another try. I ordered take out yesterday. However today I sat in the bar while doing my work on laptop.
The server was very friendly. Not too attentive but attentive enough. Recommended the best dessert I've ever had (the chocolate toffee mousse).
I ordered the steak medium - was delicious!
Only reason I am not giving this a 5 is because the music is just a tad too loud which makes people talk even louder.
Atmosphere, food, service was all great - which is rare to find when travelling for work, in my experience!response / report this review -

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is because the coal harbour location is 5 stars. The foods the same every cactus you visit so you either like there menu or you don't. I for one love the menu and food here, they are always consistent! Great place to eat. - 1 star for lack of a view there on a busy street. Otherwise fantastic place to eat!

Patio, bard & restaurant - great service, short waits and delicious food no matter you preference. Ample free parking and wonder ambiance. High tech but relaxing at the same time.

Always Great service,
I have sent many clients here and asked that they be treated with extra care on me and nothing but the best always a great treat.
I personally can ask for specific things inline with whats on the menu but make changes and the chef always accommodates. AWESOME !
one year I even asked if I could buy a full key lime pie to bring home and again they helped without fail..

I've always enjoyed this location. Service is great and food is delicious. I thought it was really sweet that the kitchen made my 3 year old an impromptu mac and cheese.

Went for a birthday. Larger party. I did not realize that this restaurant basically turns into a club at night. The patio was so insanely hot my rare tuna club was cooked by the time I finished it. The food was good. But not great. It took a long time and the table was served so slowly. First people were finished by the time the last were served. Servers were polite and efficient. But it wasn't fun. Don't sit on the patio under a heater. It was too hot to finish my meal. Will I go Back? No. Sadly if I wanted a club type atmosphere I would have gone to a club. I wanted a nice dinner. In a nice restaurant.

Arrived on Saturday night with no reservations. Was still seated within an hour. Staff was attentive and efficient, but we still didn't feel rushed. Mistake was made with my order but was corrected within 4 minutes. I was impressed with the way the staff handled the complaint, the manager and our server came over right away and made sure we were OK. Both myself and my wife had worked at restaurants in the past so know mistakes happen and weren't really phased. The food was spectacular in both quality and presentation. And when the bill came my meal had been comped for the mistake. Will definitely be returning regularly, maybe with reservations next time.

I was in a few days ago, the food and service was great ! Our server Caroline was amazing, she suggested trying the new blood orange margarita and so glad she did because it was delicious !

Came into Cactus a few days agoordered the lettuce wraps which were reccomended by our server, Caroline. She was awesome and friendly and the lettuce wraps did not disappoint! Will definitely be back!

Beware of the hosts..I have never gotten such horrible service from these girls. Most are lazy, they don't know how to do their jobs properly. Telling someone to just find a seat in the bar while it's busy and then denying me the ability to put my name on the list for a regular table; seems a little strange and unorthodox to me. After waiting at the bar, we were then told to grab our own drinks to carry to the other table (even though our hands were full) and then told that we had to pay for our coffee at the bar. I asked to host to just transfer our drink to our table and she told me she couldn't do that. She explained to me why for a good 5 minutes to only go up to the bartender and have her tell us simply she would just transfer the drink. THIS HAS BEEN THE THIRD TIME IN A ROW THE HOSTS HAVE BEEN TERRIBLE. Not only that, some of them are catty and rude. (Making the atmosphere very uncomfortable) the gentleman who work there have always been amazing, and so have the servers. Maybe it's time to do a host turn over..
