I had a great experience here for dinner. Our server I think his name was Aiden?.. Was exceptional. He was always refilling our cups with water and making sure everything was okay. He knew his dishes well and all the food came out at a good pace. We sat upstairs by the window and had a great view of the waters. My sister ordered the char and I had the lamb shank. Both were very flavorful! Really enjoyed it. I loved the truffle fries!!!! Could eat those all day. The brussels sprouts were not deep fried and then roasted which I actually quite enjoyed (I usually eat them deep fried first) I'm assuming it was boiled or steamed and then roasted? But it nice for a change. This restaurant seems very nice to host parties, events or even a wedding reception. Definitely would come back!

Great location and view for a wonderful evening. The menu is not that versatile. As it was beside the water we all ordered seafood. My salmon was a bit dry, the asparagus could be cooked a bit more to be softer. The service was excellent and courteous. The food came quickly and the waitress kept checking on us. If I go back there it would only be for view and environment, not so much for the food.

We just dropped in for a drink. The service was excellent and the view was spectacular. The patio is the best place to sit. The decor and atmosphere indoors left something to be desired; very cafeteria style. Definitely get the patio. We dropped in late in the evening, so it wasn't very busy, but judging by the size of the interior this restaurant is very busy at lunch and dinner time.

Used to be one of my favourite places to visit when visiting Vancouver but not anymore. Took us over an hour to get our food and when ever we queried the waitress she would just say 'I rang in the ticket'. The food didn't make up for the lack of service either with the meals just average. With plenty of waterfront cafes now available in Vancouver Bridges has gone to the bottom of the list.

Great food choices with a focus on fish and seafood. The wait to seat our (walk-in) group of 7 was reasonable, and the entire staff was friendly and attentive. Food was fresh and cooked to perfection. Sitting on the outdoor patio in good weather is a must!

The dining area is very pleasant and has great views. Service was fine. The food was fairly expensive and only just okay. Flavours weren't really there. Overall experience was okay but this is a place to go for the views on a summer's day, and not for the food. Not in a hurry to go back.

The island is fun and touristy. Whatever you do, don't drive a car here -- it's overcrowded with vehicles. Instead take the charming water taxi. The highlight of the island is the public market. There is wonderful cheese, meat, sugary treats, coffee. I found my favorite hard-to-get Bavarian mustard and bought two.

Fantastic View and Ambiance food was very good as well but had better cheaper halibut and chips the next day at Rodney's in Gastown. Be cured salmon candy was amazing and I highly recommend the smoked salmon flatbread Delicious!

Food was fine but our light lunch was very expensive. Great views of False Creek and people watching. You don't go here to get a value meal! But it was fun to sit in the sun. The bill brought us back to reality! Location, location, location! :)

Went here on a busy Saturday evening. My boyfriend and I got through a whole bottle of wine and waited around 40 minutes for an order of nachos, normally I don't mind but what bothered me was that our waitress waited til at least the half hour mark to ask us how we were doing and to apologize for the wait, and more or less seemed annoyed with us being annoyed about it. Upon finally receiving our nachos I had to say they were the smaller and saddest I've had in awhile..
I also didn't understand the menu situation and as to why we only got to look at a certain small menu for sitting on the patio?
I understand it's a very large restaurant and all but I'm highly disappointed with my first and probably only visit. Staff wasn't very friendly and the food was mediocre. Would recommend for the beautiful views only.response / report this review -

We had not been to Bridges for quite some time and now I remember why. It's utterly mediocre food. The Bourbon and Black Pepper Prawns literally had no discernible bourbon or pepper or salt for that matter. 6 prawns poached in unseasoned cream and some pea shoots for $18. Zero flavour.
The mains where no better, several of us ordered the salmon, which was dry, no sauce atop 6 tiny, poorly textured gnocchi.
The yam and goat cheese parcel, which sounded delicious, was no more than 90% caramalized onion as filler, yams that somehow tasted like canned pumpkin and served with a "tomato gastrique" was merely tomato paste with vinegar which we all found horrendous alone let alone paired with goat cheese and yams?
We left still hungry and disappointed, with obscurely large bills for the disappointment we received. We will not be back, nor ever recommend it.response / report this review -

One of my favorite places to dine while out at Granville Island. The seafood super fresh, and oh my gosh their oysters are out of this world. It seems the chef and his staff are all very dedicated to providing quality food for their patrons. In addition, the servers are amazing and attentive to our needs. The lobster was slightly over baked where the juiciness was non-existent. But I'm sure it was just a one off because the rest of the meal was amazing. I have quite a few clients who would go there for brunch to discuss business as well so the establishment is both family-oriented and for business persons.

Food is average but prices are inflated for the location and absolutely awesome patio when it's sunny. Don't miss stopping in on the patio door a quick snack and a beverage but don't expect gourmet. This is dressed up bar food.

The food was average. Ordered fish and chips came out really oily expected allot more from this resturant. Reason for ordering fish and chips was there lunch menu Is different then the online menu. When asked they said no that's the dinner menu which the website clearly says different. Anyways starter soup was good and the desert was good but false advertising and oily fish not a good look for this restaurant.
