  I originally gave them a critical review because I was unhappy during one shopping experience. I was too critical of them. I have been back at least 20 times and each time their customer service is outstanding. Thanks guys you are great

  I'm big into trying to support smaller, locally owned businesses, but unfortunately, I've taken my business elsewhere (Pro Hockey Life, National Sports, or Play It Again). For years, every time I went in there, I'd just get a look of absolute disdain from the older employees. Are they against customers who are visible minorities? I hope not, but it sure felt like it. This is supposedly one of the better places in town to get a skate sharpening, but there's been a few times where they've completed mucked up the sharpening - so much so that the blade was once completely uneven! I had to point it out and they've had to re-sharpen the skates - with no apology or explanation.
  If you want a better, more consistent sharpening - go to Pro Hockey Life. They often have 50% off their 10 Sharpening Passes and the regular fella over there consistently does a very good job.

  Have come in for everything from skate sharpening to buying equipment and apparel for competitive swimming. Have always received superb customer service. Extremely obliging staff.

  The worst experience ever. I have never shopped at such a dirty store before. Very dusty. Staff was also very rude and the manager was extremely rude and disrespectful after I asked him a few questions will never go back.

  I usually like to shop here even though it is more expensive than the other popular sports stores. The kids that work there are amazing and they go out of their way to help you. I was looking for a baseball net online at source for sports and called the Corbetts oakville store to see if they had it which they did. The price online was $149 but when I went to the store and the price tag was $179. When I talked to the manager he said the website is always wrong as it is a corporate website and said they made mistakes in the past and it is last year's price. Well I asked him if he could honor the price that was online since I drove all the way down and he said no. So I asked him does that mean I have to order it online to get it for $149 and he said yes. So I walked out of the store went to National Sports 1 kilometer away and purchased the net there. Normally I have a great customer service experience but not this time. It's too bad because I liked that store. National Sports was able to price match it from The Source for Sports website for $149 and they probably still made a decent profit on it. Stores like this who compete against a bigger sports stores really need to focus on customer service in order to survive. I will still continue to shop at Source for Sports.

  Walked in looking for a skate sharpening. Low and behold, I see that my "other" blade holder from my 16+ yr old Bauer 5000's has also cracked. First one was replaced by them, but now it's time to move on. Jason sat me down and asked what type of hockey I played, etc. Spent a full hour getting fitted for some lovely new Bauer Supreme Comps with Superfeet for the insoles. I'm wearing the skates now as I sit here typing. Can't wait to get on the ice with them. Excellent service with attention to detail. THANK YOU Jason !! I will be back for some "pond" blades !!

  Would rate lower if I could. No follow up on ordered goods. Have to do work myself. Inconvenient and out of the way for me to get to. Was guaranteed product would be ordered the day I inquired and ordered as they were set to make a batch order. Never received a call. Followed up on my own and was assured- promised!- that I would be having a follow up call with answer to ETA of order. Obviously that batch order never happened. Still no promised call. Can't blame them I guess. Just a bunch of kids working here. Definitely NOT professional sales. Anyways. I trudge back to store to inquire about my order to no avail. No product for me. Likely was never order even after 2 opportunities. The nerve of boy behind counter to tell me 'if it's not in the book, then you didn't order it'. F*@#ing nonsense. Was in book day I ordered it. Was in your hallowed book 1st time I followed up. So what then? Don't give a damn that you screwed up up twice and still with me standing right in front of you- did not even offer to make it right. 3 opportunities for my business I'm handing to you! You don't even have to try! When most would give up or shop elsewhere after first fail.
  
  What I WILL do is anytime I hear Corbett's in conversation, I will do my absolute best, my damn hardest to convince that person to NOT do further business with you. I will instead ask them to take their money elsewhere. Somewhere that cares

  Corbett's takes care of all of staff uniform needs. Great prices, top notch service, quality garments and quick turn around. The embroidery experts.
