Check out this 3 day and 2 night photo tour of Cape Breton on the Cabot Trail during the usually time when the Fall colours are peaking in CB. That is about a week after they do in Halifax, I partially grew up there and visit Family there every year in the Fall. I know this place like the back of my hand.

And, this is why I only offer landscape photography tours in the Canadian Rockies. I don't offer bear photography tours in the Canadian Rockies. If your goal is to photograph bears, honestly, considering going to a wildlife viewing lodge on the BC West Coast.
And, don't get out of your vehicles to photograph bears in the Canadian Rockies, no matter what. This bear was obviously fed up with the harassment, but it didn't want to hurt people either. He's just telling us to "BACK OFF!"
Let's respect his wishes and give the bears their space

Photographing the night sky can sometimes be a complex problem to solve. But the results can be amazing too. I have a night sky photography workshop on Dec. 13th for $275, which is also during the peak of the Geminid meteor shower.
The workshop is a 6 hour workshop on Saturday night on Dec, 15, 2018 from 6pm to 12:00 am early Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018. You'll be introduced to beautiful art of night sky photography with a lecture/practical field session combination.

A Close Call with a Pair of Grizzly Bears in Banff National Park I had an interesting grizzly bear encounter on Thursday, June 27, 2018.
