My experience was extremely disappointing. When I arrived 15 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment (as suggested in the confirmation email) no one was there and my phone calls went straight to voicemail when I attempted calling. After waiting outside the establishment for 15-20 minutes I decided to leave. I found this to be a highly unprofessional and a waste of my time as well as my friends' time. After my experience I will not book with Breakout Adventures again or recommend this place to anyone.

The rooms design were great and the puzzles were clearly well thought out. It's clear that a lot of time and effort were spent on creating these rooms. Mission intro briefing videos give some tips so do pay attention! The easy room isn't easy at all and proves to be quite challenging. The staff were really nice and they told us that the success escape rate for easy room was ~15% and hard room was 10%. Our group really enjoyed the overall experience

We got there and the place was closed even though we had a reservation. Called the people and they were like oh someone is on their way. We waited passed out reservation time and they still didn't show up. This is not only no way to run a business but in no way good customer service. I don't recommend this place. I would never even consider this place again .

I was forced to give one star because there is nothing lower! Showed up in advance of our reservation to find the doors locked and a sign that said 'Closed - Please Come Again' - Not bloody likely - Not only did they not show up they would not answer their phones and when we did reach someone they tried to deny they were associated with the business yet knew everything about it.

Definitely do not book an adventure with this business - they are not to be trusted!!!

We had reservations for 930, and got there at 915 as requested. We were told another group was in the room and would need to wait. I figured a few minutes. At 950, 20 minutes AFTER our reservation the other group still hadn't left the room. So that was very frustrating. The young guys running the front desk didn't seem to care that much.

For a room that was marked for a beginner it did expect a lot, in my opinion, for the players to figure out. I might just be bitter though because we got all the way to the end, figured out the exit code, but not the exit.

Booked it for my sons 15th bday party for him and 3 friends. And it was a blast. Staff was awesome and didn't have to wait as I booked online a day before. Everything was well explained. Though we couldn't finish it completely, we did make it to the final room (though with some help, haha).

I would highly recommend it to anyone. We did the easy level too, The Liberty Squad.

Awful service. Employee showed up late. They could have at least called us to tells they would be late as weather was bad but no communication is not professional. Never going back. Don't recommend this place.

My experience at Break Out Team Adventures was exceptional and memorable. The rooms were very well laid out and each detail was carefully thought about. It's definitely a great place for a group of friends to collaborate and solve a very challenging puzzle.

The lounge and mini-golf outside makes it a great place to hang-out too. Can't wait to visit again!

BreakOut was a pleasant surprise to me when I went in for a visit. It exceeded all my expectations and definitely beats all other similar places I've been to. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area or is just visiting. You will be in for a surprise! Best day I've had in awhile. Thank you, for making my time in Toronto worthwhile! Will definitely come back for more.

I don't think this is a real company:

    1) All of their messages are unanswered (on FB and their VM is full),

    2) all their calls go to VM, and

    3) the website is 404ing at every page.

    Go to Escape Games instead.

Wow! Just wow! I hate to admit it but I never thought I will have so much fun by being locked up in a room. The themes are innovative and built quality of the rooms are just extraordinary, whereas compared to Exit Canada, everything feels cheap and poorly put together. The staff are super friendly as well, definitely a recommend.

We made a booking in advance and received a confirmation email. We called the place the entire day and the number was out of service. When we got there the place was closed. The day after we received an email saying "thank you for coming". Extremely inconvenient for all of us.

I was forced to give one star, but this is the most ridiculous excuse for a business. You don't book people in for a reservation and then just decide you don't want to show up. Absolute bullshit! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

Great place! Friendly staff! Accommodated a group of 20 doing 2 different rooms for a team building activity. Quick and easy to book and I mean, if you can deal with a group of 20, you can deal with anything! Thanks guys definitely going back.

Solved both Liberty Wing and Assassin's Suite at Breakout Team Adventures.

It was ok. The automated hint system was interesting but not always helpful. There were only four puzzles in total and two of them were very similar.

Interesting concept, lackluster production, and average-weak puzzle design. Would not return.

(Operationally poorly run in many ways but that's more likely to change than the quality of the game.)

    Revised:

Visited a second time at their Assassin Suite room. It is very unique and very cool! Larger focus on team communication and dexterity than logic puzzles.

I would have no more than 6 people in this room however, 10 seems to be really pushing it as many of the puzzles are confined to small areas that only fit 3 people max. and with communication-based puzzles you want to avoid too many people giving directions.

Customer service was perfect this time around! Good job guys!

Only complaint from my group was the puzzles do not all feel like it fits the theme or provides progression of a narrative. But that's ok, that's a lot more subjective. =)

Upon booking, I received a confirmation email informing to arrive 15 minutes earlier. So we did, but no one was there. We called the place but it went straight to voice mail. We waited 20 minutes and left. Waste of time.

Great atmosphere. Great lounge space. We did the The Liberty Squad and it was so much fun and moderate difficulty which is great for anyone to try. The room was decorated nicely and it was straight forward. Plus we completed the mission in 52 minutes!!!! :D

I have to admit that the rooms are much larger than the others I have played. Hence, the game here is usually more intensive than others'. I really like the challenging design of game here - even though we did not manage to 'survive' in our previous game. ;)

Liberty Squad is our favorite Escape room so far and we've done a lot of them! Very realistic, interesting, and so much fun! Unfortunately I can't rave about the details because I can't give anything away but I would love too. We were able to get out and the only bad thing was that it was over! The 2 staff members there were such nice guys, so friendly and welcoming. Cannot wait for the next room to be ready. Amazing job BreakOut! The best place yet!

Awesome place to hang with friends! I tried the World War II theme which is called Liberty Squad it was freaking cool! We had a team of nine people and we couldn't stop talking after we played the game! Can't wait to try the second theme! Please open that theme soon!
