Year 4 for this volunteer and i have loved every single day of it. Even chasing stolen carts thru the main venue during a show. Getting hurt to stop a drunk thief from robbing carts n running over the crowd. Was still worth it. I already have my tickets for this yr and ill be volunteering also. Best birthday girft ever for me. #imabootslifer. Kinda very disapointed that there is a no refund or exchange on tickets that ppl buy. I had a ticket bought by a fam member n because i volunteer the 300 they paid is now.a useless ticket. So seriously sick n sad about this.

Purchased ticket Nov 2017, credit card was charged but the ticket is nowhere to be found not on eventbrite got no confirmation email no one is answering email

Amazing festival. Great music and organization but we had problem with their top up paying system. We got overcharged twice and it is very hard to get refunded. Lost 60$ :(

I'm sad to see so many bad reviews. We had a magnificent time at Boots and Hearts!

There were only two negative aspects:

- trying to get out of the parking lot on Sunday night after Luke Bryan was torturous (That needed to be much better organized)

-though I completely understand the no in/out privileges(allowing cars in and out would have been chaotic) and no overnight parking, it caused an issue in our weekend because we had to leave for a wedding on the Saturday. However, we got around the issue by packing up our campsite on Saturday morning, driving 2 hours home for the wedding, and driving back up Sunday morning, and driving back home Sunday night. Perhaps there could be special exceptions to the in and out policy??

Having said all that, I thought every other aspect of the festival was very well-organized and efficiently run. Every staff member we interacted with was very helpful and extremely friendly. And there were plenty of staff available. There was an abundant amount of food choices and free water. The grounds/portapotties were not as disgustingly dirty as other outdoor/overnight festivals I've attended, the cleanup crew worked hard to try to stay on top of cleanliness, toilet paper, soap availability, etc. We were in the Quiet camping area, and though we were still very close to all our neighbors, it wasn't rowdy at all, it was a much-appreciated option for our age group lol:) Although we did walk through the General camping area and it looks like it would have been a blast in my younger days! I'm guessing we missed some of the chaos mentioned in other reviews because we mostly stayed in our little bubble in the Quiet area.

Overall, we had an excellent time, we will definitely be back next year. All of the bands were fantastic, the lineup was great! Requests for next year, I'd love to see any of the following artists next year: Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Toby Keith, Kane Brown, Blake Shelton, Garth Brooks, Chris Stapleton, Zac Brown band, Brett Young, Randy Houser, etc I could go on forever!

The sites in accessible camping were full of goose poop. It was so disgusting.

The golf cart would take you to the gate with an accessible pass, but the distance to be walked once inside the venue was almost the furthest part of the stage Not at all accessible.

VIP was a total waste of money. Entrance was so far away. And unless you brought a chair, there is no where to sit and watch the show. Plus, VIP didn't even include shower pass. Not even sure what the $800 is for unless your a 20 year old who can stand at the stage for the entire show. So disappointing.

The ride home for accessibility was attrocious. Some waiting up to 2 hiurs at the gate for a cart. I understand some would say "just walk". But when you need mobility aid and/or have a disability. Walking is not an option.

Don't offer a service if you can't follow through with the promises made.

Bought my GA pass and 30a camping pass in January. Still haven't received either. Extremely slow response time from customer service in e-mails only.

So now I guess I have to just show up with my camper and hope I can get in? They had my money for a long time, why did they wait till the last possible minute to send out the passes?

Update:

Picking up passes at the gate was actually pretty easy. They have built a huge new driveway off line 9 so while your camper is getting searched by security you can go over to the guest services and get your passes. Might be more hectic for the tent campers though.

For the amount of money this event brings in, they should pay for better security than what you get with volunteers!! What a shit show!!! The music is the only thing this has going for it. The rest of the experience isn't worth the price of admission. If you go, drive a beater and take a tent and don't bring anything of value because nobody gives a shit! I've been to rock festivals where people were better behaved!!!

Not happy with the customer service. Bought my tickets back in November of 2016 and still haven't received them. Other people have received them. I was told I should get them before the event and if not I can get them at the gate. After explaining that I can't go and I am selling them I received no response both times. It has now been 4 emails since you can't call them and I have resulted to social media to warn people about buying tickets for this event.

The Good I enjoyed my first ever music festival. For the most part it was well set up , lots to offer and tons of things to do during and between bands. I was also surprised at the amount of free swag being given out. There was lots of bathrooms and the wait times weren't long , even after a band finished. The music sets were a good length with lots of music played in between.

The Bad .. I can appreciate how hard it is to control a crowd that size, but the amount of weed being smoked in the main even area was overwhelming. The smell and smoke was too much (in my opinion) how did it get past security. If someone medically needs it they should have areas for that, as well as smoking. I mean wonderland is smoke free now. And the amount of umbrellas being used at the front of the stage preventing views surprised me, i didn't think that were allowed.

The Ugly .. While watching Brett Eldridge a group of girls gathered in a circle while one was in the middle peeing and pooping!!!! That is right to lazy to walk through the crowd the the washroom. I had to move so I wouldn't get splashed.

I would not ever camp there was the site is disgusting and so much litter left behind like come on people be considerate. I would be terrified of my things getting ruined. What a mess !!!! I would not want to have to clean that mess up.

lastly I think that they should card you and provide an arm band showing you are legal age. I was asked several times for ID. I got the drink then was in line at the washroom and was asked again. I didn't wanna keep it in my pocket and loose it

It was a great time with friends, but the line up was not as good as other years. Also the RV campsites for the price we pay was really far from the grounds. Also not enough bathrooms compared to other years.

Horrible management. Ordered tickets 5 minutes after release in November. Still no tickets. Wanted to go tommorow morning. Now for trying to think ahead and ordering early we have to wait in some b.s line with hundreds of other people just to get tickets that were supposed to be mailed out weeks ago. Not to mention what we can miss out for not having our bracelets registered before a certain time. Absolutely ridiculous.

Tickets sadly arrived after the contest deadline or whatever, but otherwise it was quite nice. First time going as I live in NS, and I can say it probably won't be my last. The way the bands are used to pay for everything is amazing and so convenient, the grounds are nice and large, great selection of food vendors, porta potty were pretty decent, a lot of clean up crew Everyone was so nice! Only complaint is some of the concert goers getting on shoulders and being disrespectful af.

Had an absolute blast there! Everyone seemed to be pretty well behaved, the music was amazing, and the souvenirs were decently priced. However, the mess. Oh my god the mess.. around the camp sites.. it was rather disgusting! I understand a majority of the occupants are younger but where did respect go? I think they need to come up with a better way to enforce people cleaning up their sites. But as I said the planning and venues were great! Definitely plan to return again next year !!

Security demanded ID for drinking and threatened to cut my pass without one but they aren't even offering drinking wristbands this year. Sorry I don't have my ID on me 24/7. If you don't offer wristbands TELL your concert goers they need ID 24/7. I've never been treated with such disrespect. Awful service this year. Been coming for 3 years and honestly after this year I won't be coming back because this festival is going downhill.

Boots & Hearts Music Festival 2017 PLEASE HELP! I'm so stressed and anxious 😩.. I had a great time last year but this year is already stressing me out with not much time left to get things sorted out. My friends have already purchased their General Admission Weekend Passes but none of them have received wristbands in the mail which is stressful enough for them, but MY situation is even more concerning. I didn't purchase tickets early but was fortunate enough to get 2 VIP Admission Full Event Passes from a friend who won them from a Radio Station. Unfortunately all that I have at the moment are the 2 Hard Tickets and no other form of confirmation or registration to go with them. This is also creating a problem for my other friend who wants to sell her General Admission Ticket so that she can use my other VIP ticket with me but doesn't want to get rejected at the gate as she and her friends are traveling and camping together. Please let me know what I can do ahead of time to ensure my VIP tickets will be accepted at the gate without a massive delay for everyone involved. Thank-you 🙏

I've been going to b&h from the second year I always do VIP but I think it's crazy now the prices went up so much but we only get half of the main stage? I think VIP should go back to how it was and how it is at every other festival I've ever been too! When you pay for VIP you get to view the whole stage right up front general is always behind VIP! Especially now because VIP went up considerably and you have taken away more than half of the viewing for VIP! Please return the VIP to the whole main stage front access and I bet you will have a lot more people buying VIP because of the other perks that now come with VIP! :)
