My initial impression of Boost Psychology was that it was a welcoming environment, however, my opinion drastically changed once I met with the psycologist, Chelsea. Apart from starting my appointment late, her approach was very condecending. Her style of questioning was not thought provoking or challenging, but more on the judgemental side. This, coupled with the fact that she yawned throughout the session, made me feel that this was not a welcoming, supportive place. At the end of the session, she gave no suggestions as to areas that I could work on, nor did she ask if I would be interested in following up. I was simply out of time and ushered out of the room. I asked the receptionist if there was any indication of when follow up should occur and she couldn't give me an answer. This was just as well, as though I intially was going to give this place another chance, I realized that the lack of empathy shown by the psychologist, and the general confusion demonstrated by the receptionist, made it a place that I would not like to visit again.
I started seeing Amal for a torn tendon & ligaments in my ankle & not able to weight bear because of knee issues. Was using crutches & a walker. After 5 treatments I’m able to weight bear & walk with out any assistance. I highly recommend Boost Physiotherapy as well as Amal as a therapist. She is awesome in explaining everything so you understand what’s happening👍
Kirsten was a very welcoming psychologist and was able to help me work trough some stuff.
