I highly recommend choosing Dr. Gelfant as your surgeon. I went to Dr. Gelfant for a breast augmentation and could not be happier with my results. Many people ask me who my surgeon was, and I will continually refer them to Dr. Gelfant. His expertise, professionalism, and care are unmatched. His staff are highly professional and responded to all of my questions/concerns promptly. I would not hesitate to choose Dr. Gelfant as my surgeon again and I advise anyone looking for a surgeon to book a consultation with him. His work is absolutely beautiful and you will be in safe hands!

So happy with the decision I made with Dr Gelfant for my BA surgery.
I knew I wanted surgery for a really long time, the researching time was probably the hardest but seeing how many great reviews Dr Gelfant had, it was easy when it came down to narrowing the doctors I would be seeing. I had booked 3 consultations & thought for sure I would be seeing them all prior to making a final decision, however after I met with his team, I knew that I would be in good hands. I had my surgery on June 4th, 2019 and I am a bit over two months now & I couldn't be happier. Love the results so far & can't wait to see the final results once they are settled. I am happy with all the follow ups from Jessie & Kristy. They were so sweet & amazing. They always replied right away when I had questions. If I needed to go through this process again with Dr Gelfant, I wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again.response / report this review -

Dr. Gelfant is the most qualified surgeon in Vancouver, his past work and credentials speak to his competence. Dr.Geflant has the ideal bedside manner I was searching for in a surgeon and when I met Dr.Gelfant I knew he was the person I wanted to operate on me. Dr.Gelfant has honesty and integrity, he is a surgeon who puts his patients care first and isn’t afraid to say no when underlying medical concerns, unhealthy motivations or unrealistic expectations are obvious. When I went for my sizing for my mastopexy ( implants/lift) I knew I wanted to go big, and I picked a size that would not be best for my overall health and desired look , ( I ended up going 405cc) Dr .Gelfant will only do operations in which he can achieve optimal results, he is an excellent surgeon and will only recommend a procedure if you’re a good candidate, he is genuinely invested in your well-being. I choose to go with the Ideal implant, which I view as the best implant, and only a limited number of surgeons can offer it. I would give my overall experience 10/10. I was very scared going into the operation, as it was my first surgery, Dr.Gelfant really made me feel safe and well taken care of before I went in, and his team is top notch. Dr. Gelfant has a contact line where you can reach him 24/7, I even called him on Christmas eve to ask him questions about my medication, and he was there for me, regardless of the holiday. When I saw the results of my surgery on the day after in my post -opt I was in tears, his work is so clean, my results were everything I was hoping for, and more. I’m 5 weeks post-opt now, and I’m so in love with my results, the healing process was a breeze, and my scars are hardly noticeable at only 5 weeks. I’m just blown away by my overall experience, I would highly recommend Dr. Gefalnt to any family member or friend.

I could not be more pleased! At 65, I am here to encourage "women of a certain age" to consider an augmentation. It's never too late for beauty and Dr Gelfant is the best of the best. Believe me, I did the research. He's a brilliant surgeon and to assure the best possible outcome is extremely thorough in his approach to preoperative preparation and postoperative care. His staff is amazing! They are caring, professional and so responsive! I never waited more than a few minutes for returned email or phone call. Dr Gelfant and Staff are amazing and very knowledgeable. I was searching for a perfect surgeon to do my breast lift and augmentation for over a year and a half then I stumbled upon Dr. Gelfant.
I made an consultation and was surprised how quickly they got me in. No, quick doesn't mean that he is not as good or busy as other surgeons. He has a private practice and this is his main focus.
Dr. Gelfant tells you his true recommendations in size and what will be best for you. He has lots of experience in what he does.
I went through with my surgery and I could not be more ecstatic about the results! My breast are perfect and the scars are so minimal you can barely tell. It has been 3 months and it was the best money I have ever spent. I highly recommend Dr. Gelfant and would go right back to him if I ever needed a 2nd revision!response / report this review -

Hands down I would recommend Dr. Gelfant any day. He's extremely knowledgeable and is realistic about implant choices. I felt comfortable with my choice about choosing him as my surgeon. I went with a 500cc implant high profile and couldn't be any happier. His staff were warm and inviting as well as very helpful with any questions I had. He has made me feel the way I've wanted to feel about my appearance and I can't thank him enough.

I mean, if you're looking for someone to coddle you and indulge in your less than impressive "google doctorate", this isn't the guy for you. He will tell you what's needed, how it's done and what you can expect in a straight forward manner.
(which i personally adore)
Nevertheless the results are impeccable, far exceed my expectations.
This is someone who truly excells in their field and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his expertise to anyone who's looking to improve their lifestyle.
His staff is knowledgeable, available and hospitable.
His prices reflect those of the current market.
The Cambie Surgery center in which he operates out of, is a state of the art facility with some of the most dedicated and nurturing nurses I've ever encountered.
Dr. Gelfant was a great choice, the staff who looked after me during and post operatively are what made this experience an excellent one.response / report this review -

Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service! I called in as a new patient inquiring about the status of the referral my Dr sent in. I was greeted very abruptly. A receptionist with an accent answered (only stating this as she wouldn't repeat her name) and wow did she set a very negative tone never will I ever go to this place She was very rude and sarcastic, and when I asked to speak to someone else she said she is the only f/t employee and I would need to bring up my concerns with the doctor at my appointment when I come in. She gave me the sense that she didn't have any desire but to help me as little as she possibly could, and belittled me when I asked clarifying questions. I've heard good/bad things about Dr Gelfant, but quite frankly I refuse to give your practice a cent after the way I was treated over the phone. You don't have a monopoly here and need to realize that good customer service will go a long way! The receptionist made your office come across unfriendly and unprofessional and I will most definitely take my hard earned money elsewhere. On top of this I had to follow up several times after my referral was sent in, and never did receive a call to book an appointment. Hopefully your employee will receive an attitude check before you lose any more customers.

Having an extensive breast lift and augmentation was never something I ever thought I needed to consider as I was always a D cup until I recently lost 50 lbs and realized I was now faced with extremely sagging smaller breasts. Seeking the best plastic surgeon Vancouver has to offer was high on my list of things to do. I turned to my girlfriend who just 4 years priore had breast augmentation and squealed in delight when recommending Dr. Gelfant. The entire staff at Dr. Gelfant's office has been nothing less than professional, discreet, supportive and informative. Each visit was prompt and encouraging. Dr. Gelfant did an exceptional job in walking me thru the process, explaining the process of the breast lift, the various implants and their pros and cons as well as the healing process so I can make the best decision for me.. I chose a 300cc Ideal Implant that i'm extremely pleased with. I spent weeks researching the various implant options available.and was scared to make the wrong decision. It's been 3 weeks now and they are already looking incredible!.
Tip: if you are sensitive to painkillers and narcotics, consider medicinal marijuana. You can obtain a prescription from your naturopath and purchase from a reputable medicinal dispensary. The Indica variety can act as a great muscle relaxant and can potentially reduce muscle spasms.response / report this review
