Town of Erie's most frequented public beach! Super clean waters, you access by paying $5 entrance fees for non-residents using high-tech statio , you pay $15/day for parking. The nearby washrooms/lockers are phenomenal recently renovated, water efficient, just the soap dispenser is fixated too high. If you get the chance to ask local employee Brandon at the beach front entrance about the history of the town, he is best to guide you where to go as his knowledge of the many intricacies surrounding this area are second to none!
We visited crystal beach and the quality of water was the best . The beach has clean and easily accessible washrooms. There is a nice sitting area infront of the beach and you can enjoy the view from that Benches ! If you have small kids, there's a kids play area too !! In short it's a perfect family beach. Must visit 🙂
We came here for a good beach and were extremely upset right off the bat. First off all, no tents were allowed, it was packed with people and one staff was incredibly rude. We asked her for a refund and we handed over the bracelets. She said "We don't do that" and threw the wristband away. We had this umbrella thing to protect us from the sun but apparently it was somehow bothering others despite us being about 5 meters from any other family near us. Dumb staff roam the beach and don't let people rest and always make sure you're not doing anything forbidden. They didn't even allow glass bottles and containers! The only benefit is that the sand is nice and so is the water. Do not come here! Go to Rock Point Provincial Park instead! Also if the freaking owner responds to this disproving anything here, it's all a lie to make their business look good.
$10 parking for the entire day which isn't bad and $5 for entry fee per person which is a bit expensive considering the fact that it's just a public beach. Never had to pay in order to enter a beach before. This was the first one. However, it was worth the money. Water is clean and clear with no pebbles or gravel. It's a nice sandy beach. Water is not deep at all. Great for family and kids.
