I don’t use pottery very often but if I had more pieces like this blue patterned one I definitely would ☺️
I now have more of these amazing rustic frames! I’m a *bit* excited, if you can’t tell
I have to say I’m pretty happy with this one ☺️ This seaglass multi makes a perfect bird!
A couple of my favourite things new frames, and new seaglass received from my aunt (who is also my favourite aunt). 😉
A previous custom order I realized I haven’t shared yet This was for a family welcoming a new little baby girl to their family. 🎀
One of my wedding birdies pictures. It can be tricky finding just the right rocks so that the piece looks symmetrical - but when I find them I’m always super pleased 😉
I’ve been quiet on here the last little while, as I’ve been being all summery and outdoorsy. Here’s a custom order from a while back which is also quite summery and outdoorsy 😉
Want a chance to win a little surprise from me? 💌 I’m looking for your thoughts on frames 🖼See my post from yesterday (pinned to top)!
UPDATE: Thank you all for your incredibly helpful comments. It’s great for future frame purchasing to know what you prefer in terms of styles, colours etc. Although it seems that frames with glass are the winner, lots of people also preferred glassless, so I’ll continue to use both. And speaking of winners. the winner of the surprise is Brenda Hundscheid! ..
I’d love to get your thoughts Which kinds of frames do you like best for seaglass art?
As a thank you, this Sunday night I’ll draw a name and send that person a little surprise in the mail. 💌
Shadowbox, or not? Glass covering the seaglass, or not? Matted or unmatted? Sizes? Shapes? Colours?
Let me know what you think in the comments section. Be as general or as specific as you like!
I bought this frame *ages* ago, and started a picture to go in it. But after gluing the branch and the matching green leaves I put it aside, unable to decide on the bird. I finally decided on this grey-blue one. It’s quite different from my usual, but I kind of like that about it 😉
Today I was thrilled to send the proceeds from the sale of the pet pictures on to @savealifecanadaanimalrescue. Thank you to all who purchased one! We raised a whopping $500.00 to help the rescue with their great work (including the care of 26 new arrivals from Texas!)
Pictured is my beloved Millie, who we adopted from a rescue in the US several years ago. She made the journey from GA to NJ, also as part of a transport, and then travelled to NS with us. We couldn’t ask for a better dog, and we are so grateful to all of those who helped her in her journey to her forever home.
It’s been great to be able to help some other pups. Thanks again everyone, and your pictures are on their way to you! We’ll do this again in the future!
I’ve been so excited to share this tiny shadowbox piece, and now that my friend and new mama in England has received it, I finally can 💕

Was working on more animal rescue pictures today. EVERY time I walk past this tray of brown seaglass I think it’s my dog’s dry dog food 😂
Happy Halifax Pride Parade Day!
