  "Thank you God for all the Anglicans who have come before and after us for reminding us who you are, what you want us to be and how you would like us to serve. Give us eyes to see those around us who are different, those who feel isolated and alone. Give us a heart for groups of people who have visible or invisible disabilities. Give us a heart for fellowship, and increase our capacity for all ministries to all the baptized. Transform your church that it will truly become your hands and feet to the world. Lord, a church is a bunch of people who get things wrong … abide in me to take the ups and the downs in the completeness of life. We get glimpses of your presence when it doesn’t happen and when it does. The church does make a difference for those in it and touched by it. Thank you God for the blessing of Primate Fred Hiltz who strives to listen to the heartbeat of the church. May our prayers bear fruit in your world.

  The Anglican Diocese of Montreal has been home to me for most of my adult life. When I have attended Anglican events in other parts of Canada, I have always been proud of our innovative ministries and ways of serving our community. Members of our diocese have served on numerous national committees. Our commitment is continuing with Bishop Mary Gibson.
  
  I am also grateful for excellent communication through Email, Facebook, live videos and links with Anglican.ca.
  
  As we face so many challenges we are learning to be the church in new and meaningful ways.

  When I think of how we are all struggling to survive as a church community and be a positive influence in our society, I am very grateful for the leadership of our wonderful Bishop, and the support we get from the Diocesan office in keeping us together and up to date and pointed in the right direction. The Diocesan Facebook provides a valuable insight into the events of the Diocese and is very helpful. Many thanks from this Anglican.

  Working at the Diocese is the best! I work with a wonderful group of passionate, hard working individuals. I have the honor and privilege to meet some of the best volunteers and of course our wonderful Clergy. The Facebook page is a brilliant way to keep abreast of all the "goings on" in the Diocese!

  We (a seven member family) arrived to Montreal 5 years ago, and we were really fortunate to meet a beautiful Anglican community, that has opened their hearts to us. Thank you for your support, friendship and love. Thank you for always been leading the change to the new church era, modern, dynamic, connected with people. We feel blessed to have you as part of our family!

  Not impressed. Trinity gets shut down and the new bishop moves into a 2000 foot greystone in Westmount (adjacent). (See grand tour in the Gazette of 16 Dec.) How very Anglican to slam the door of a church known for its outreach, and then move the new bishop into residence in grand style.
  
  (By the way, I'm not a parishioner from Trinity. A lot of people—Anglicans and others—are disturbed by the high-handed decisions of the Diocese.)
