  Ian is very knowledgable and professional. He did a very thorough inspection on our new home. He had lots of great advise about how to deal with the few issues that came up. He was able to come inspect on tight notice which helped us secure our home. Would definitely use Ian in for future inspection needs.

  First time home buyer in Kamloops BC. i can not say enough about Ian, he knew how nervous and inexperienced with buying a house. His professionalism and willing to answer any questions at any time was awesome. The actual report that he puts together is so easy to understand with what should be repaired immediately or in time, was so nice. if i could give him 10 stars i would. thanks Ian, more then welcome to come for a swim anytime :)

  I received fantastic service from Ian, he is very professional and provides a high quality inspection report that is user friendly and cover all aspects of the home and reviews any potential concerns before and after the inspection. Also provides great follow up. Would recommend to anyone!

  Finely a company that deserves a good review, after three different companies on three different occasions all with the same disappointing results I contacted Almost Home Building Inspections Ltd. This company ticks all the boxes. From the first hello to the final handshake. The report I was given was well presented and comprehensive. Every issue raised was accompanied by a photo and a recommended course of action. The
  Inspector was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I presented his report to the home owner and based on its findings I was able to negotiate a price reduction. This company has really earned an extremely good review.

  I would highly recommend Ian Thorpe of Almost Home Building Inspections to anyone needing a house inspection. He was very professional, personable and his knowledge of home construction gave me peace of mind. He conducted a very thorough inspection of the house, documenting the issues that would require further attention. The inspection report was concise and easy to read. Even though our realtor never showed up and the homeowner refused to leave, Ian remained calm, courteous and continued on with the inspection. I cannot thank him enough.
