Our experience at the African Lion Safari was incredibly awesome. Loved the white lion and giraffe. Driving through between the animals is altogether a different experience. You'll love it too.
There were three shows which were quite interesting as well: Birds show, Eagle show, and Reptile show.
There's a small splash park/wet play area where you can chill and relax in hot summers.
It's definitely worth experiencing.

We visited on a Saturday, arrived around 11 am and left by 5 pm. I don’t have kids, but I still enjoyed this place.
We started with the game reserves. We decided to drive in our car, which was a great experience. Some animals are far away, but as you move forward, you can get a better photo angle. This took us around 2 hrs.
We did the boat and the train rides. There was a lineup for both, and I would not recommend waiting if you don’t have kids (It might have also been bad luck), but we couldn’t see any primates on the boat ride, and the train ride has a nice scenic view but is something that you can keep for last or entirely skip.
We saw the 3 presentations, and it was terrific. They are informative and interactive. We walked around to see all the animals, and it was an enjoyable day.
I would recommend taking an umbrella, hats or long sleeves as on sunny days it can get a bit exhausting to walk around. There are a lot of places to find food, and washrooms and I think everyone from kids to adults will enjoy it.

A good place to visit, specially with kids. Kids will enjoy a lot. You can drive your own car inside or else can take a bus ride inside the safari trail. There are few snacks shops too, like Pizza pizza and some souvenir shops too. There is a water park as well for kids, so make sure to bring extra clothes. For 2 adults tickets will cost around $100. Overall its a good experience.

One of the best place to visit in early summer. Try to visit early in the day to maximize the animal viewing.
I visited on Sunday and it was busy. Spent around 6 hours to complete everything.

You can buy tickets online (much suitable option) or just drive there to purchase a ticket.

You just take your own car and drive throughout the safari trails. They have got lots of different animals in different part of the safari but Lions, Giraffe and Rhino are main attractions.

All the birds and reptiles shows are very impressive. Great place for one day picnic with family.

This has been my favourite summer activity ever since I was a baby. Our parents always took us here every summer and now we’re continuing the tradition with my sisters kids. This is the best wildlife experience by far for our area. Way better than what any zoo has to offer. The animals actually have space to roam free and be in cohorts together as they would in the wild. The animals are cared for insanely well and the property is absolutely massive! I go every year to see George the elephant because he’s been my favourite ever since I was a little girl. The animal shows are a great learning experience as well for the kids. Definitely worth the time and money. The water park is really fun for the kids as well as the train. The only thing I disagree with is the elephant rides but I haven’t seen them doing as much of those in the past couple of years.

We liked it. Lots to do. Was a bit cold when we went so we could go to the water park but still my son loved it. Took the bus tour. Lots of places to eat. Watched the elephants swim! But it is a tourist park so on the expensive side.

Oh my goodness, this was such a beautiful experience. There was so much to do and experience. The ride on the lake, the train ride and the experience of seeing some new animals which I was not familiar with. The Lemur, I think was one of them. The birds so beautiful , from the colourful to the majestic.
Then the shows ,I saw an elephant that actually paints. Up close you can see that they are very intelligent. We went to the elephants swim, one of them actually displayed playfulness (or was it) of attempting to spray us with water from its trunk. I plan to return soon.

This is definitely a world class facility. The drive through Safari is a huge hit for all ages. Why only 4 stars? Well, I felt the shows were not up to par. The parrot show was amazing, but the other 2 were shorter than advertised, and not as fun as they were on past visits. Perhaps this was because it was the end of the season. I must say that going in October was great, the crowds were smaller, and the animals very active. One word about the train and boat rides; they are extremely short.

Had a lot of fun there. We Took a bus tour because were afraid to take rent car to crazy monkeys who can jump on it and scratch it. Parking for our was free and this time. Besides the guide was telling interesting stories and stopped at every kind of animal so that everyone could see it. We were in September and there were not so many people on the bus with us that we could move from side to side to watch 360! By the way we advise to try to see all 3 shows, take a train and a boat ride. All of them didn't need additional money. And at the and of the day at 5pm was the most interesting part for us cause we saw elephants swimming. They were so close to us!

Our second time as a family here and must say it's always a great full day of fun for all. Staff is very friendly and very caring for the animals. The shows are all lined up so that it's easy to see them all. Lines are not bad at all to wait for the train or boat ride. Tons of activities for the kids to do and animals to see.

Will for sure be back again and recommend 110% you check them out. It a fun for all ages young and old. Enjoy!

An old favorite. Had not been here since I was a kid so it was great to take my child and share with him the wonders of the animal kingdom. Always a riot seeing the monkeys jumping on top of cars and buses. The water park was also an excellent experience. Great Fun!

Despite what it seems like it's just like all the other zoos, they treat their animals poorly and it was heartbreaking to see how the elephants were forced to walk in circles just so we could ride them they used these metal hooks so that they would cooperate and it barley got any water even when it was like 30 degrees outside. It's still better than some other zoos because there's a lot more space for some of the animals but I wouldn't recommend going there

Amazing place! The bus tour was awesome, but lions were far and you don't get the chance to see them from close!! Baboons was climbing up and down the windows of the bus and that's was awesome. The parrot show was great, the parrot sang "oh Canada", and you get to see elephants swimming. Staff were so friendly. My favorite part was the boat ride, the view of the sunset over the lake was gorgeous! The train ride was amazing as well. Definitely a great place to go to.
