To the staff and cadets of 2912,
How do I begin to say THANK YOU for this incredible journey of being your Commanding Officer for the past 3 years.
We have had MANY SUCCESSES over the last few years and it is because of all of you. This organization is not lead by an individual but by a TEAM, and what an incredible team we have been.
Thank you to my STAFF, who have supported me and guided me in my role as CO. I couldn’t have done it without you. I will always treasure the moments and friendships that we have created.
To the parents, thanks you for allowing me the opportunity to watch your children develop into these amazing young leaders. They are incredible kids.
To the cadets, your potential is grand and inspiring. Always lead by example!!! You have had some incredible leaders in the past few years, take what they have taught you and implement it, mentor your junior cadets, remember that they want to be you, they look up to you. There is nothing that you can’t do, when you set your mind to it, don’t ever give up!!!
As I relinquish command this evening, I wish Capt Moore the best of luck and many successes over the next 3 years. I know you will all give him the same kind of support that you have given me.
Change = New ideas= New successes
It truly has been an HONOUR to serve as your Commanding Officer, for that I say THANK YOU.

CO’s CHANGE OF COMMAND PARADE TOMORROW
This is a mandatory parade. ALL CADETS to attend. Dress uniforms for cadets, Garrison for seniors If you do not have a uniform, proper civilian clothing is required, no ripped jeans or tank tops
All cadets to arrive for 6 pm for a parade rehearsal. Parade will commence at 7:45pm All parent are welcome to attend
IF YOU HAVE NOT SIGNED YOUR CHILDS ANNUAL VALIDATION FORM, PLEASE COME UP TO THE OFFICE AND SEE THE STAFF TOMORROW.

WELCOME BACK CADETS
All cadets, accompanied with a parent, are asked to attend this Wednesday Sept 5th, from 6:00-7:00 pm to fill out and sign your yearly paperwork.
Dress is civilian clothing
If you have uniform pieces that need to be exchanges, this is the time to do so.
Sgt’s and above will be expected to stay from 7:00-9:00pm for a planning meeting.
IMPORTANT FOR NEXT WEEK SEPT 12th COMMANDING OFFICERS CHANGE OF COMMAND PARADE
Full dress uniform/ Garrison for seniors rehearsal beginning at 6:00pm with 134 Sea Cadets and 2915 Capreol cadets. Parade commencing at 7:45 for parents that want to attend
We are looking forward to another fantastic training year!!!

Some more amazing news today!!! MWO Hood was awarded the Saint George Medal for achieving top 3 staff cadets at Blackdown CTC this summer. We are all very proud of you.
WO Kenny also receive an award this evening, on final grad parade, I will post more when I find out what it was for.

Bus timings for cadets returning from Blackdown CTC on Friday Aug 17th will arrive at the Sudbury Armoury at 15:15 hrs. Congrats to all those that completed their 6 week summer training course.

Joined the corps when I was 12 years old, and haven't really been able to leave since. I would not spend 16 years (so far) with a program that was not awesome. 2912 is not just another program, and it isn't just another cadet corps. It's a family, a way of life, and a complete mindset. If you are looking for something to do with your spare time, I hope you have a lot of it. It will take up all spare time that you have as you will want to spend that time there. When you get in, there's not really any "toe dipping" it's both feet in and well over your head.

I truly miss the seven years I've spent as a cadet with 2912 Sudbury Irish RCACC. The most memorable moment among many others, is seing a cadet you've trained from the very beginning reach the rank of Chief Warrant Officer and eventually retire with all the honor and recognition.
