Excellent wings and a game of darts with a local Carlos. Took a boat ride afterwards on the Sitte River and enjoyed seeing Dolphins and Hopkins, Belize from a different perspective.

Caught a dart game at the bar along with some good drinks, and great food. Staff was very friendly. A beautiful facility all around.

This is a great place with a great location on the river, real good food, good helpful staff..Just way over priced. Which could almost be justified. However they sneak a tip and tax on to your bill too. You don't tip or tax at any other restaurants in Belize and it certainly isn't forced on you anywhere else.

The River Bend, a must visit stop to have a wonderful meal and a cold beer, in beautiful scenic location. If you are lucky, watch the resident Crocodile swim across the river to his private pen just below the restaurant where you can watch safely as the staff feeds him. He came about 2pm the day I was there.

We went to the marina mid morning on a beautiful day to see if somehow we could go snorkeling that same day. Valentine made a call to Udell who came in on his day off and took us out for 4 hours to amazing snorkeling for a very reasonable price. Udell is awesome, is an encyclopedia of marine biology, and brilliantly accommodated my really bad swimming skills. These guys are all just the best!!!!
