  The Savannah Guess House was a lot of fun. Getting to feed crocodiles up close is a unique experience.

  Wonderful guest rooms in a secluded jungle savannah space next door to the Belize Zoo. The Fosters are fantastic hosts. Chatting with our host over breakfast and getting introduced to some of the animals around the property was one of the highlights of our Belize trip!

  We loved our short stay at Savanna Guest House. It was our last stop before leaving Belize. Beautiful property and awesome host. Richard treated us as friends and his hospitality was exceptional. He wanted to take us around the property the next day but we had to leave for the airport. He did take us in to visit the resident ocelot. Such an amazing experience. Hope to visit again!

  Must stay here! Oasis in Belize. Particularly if you’re planning on visiting Belize Zoo (which you must!). Savannah Guest House is only a mile from the zoo and both are only 40-45 mins from Central Belize City.
  Absolutely beautiful property and the hosts (Richard and Carol) are a fascinating couple full of wonderful stories and interesting information of their documentary/film making for Nat Geo + The BBC and their conservation efforts.
