    Beautiful archeological site to visit with family or friends when traveling in Corozal, Belize. A great way to experience the maya world and is centrally located in Santa Rita, Corozal Town.

    I learned how here the culture of mestizo was born when Gonzalo Guerrero married Natchankan's daughter Zahzilha in this temple and they had a baby which became the first mestizo. Its an amazing place.

    Santa Rita is a ceremonial ground. The Maya used it for weddings and other stuff. It's so awesome, to set foot at a place and feel so relaxed and at peace.
