Stayed here in Feb. Great place. Looks better in person then the pictures on the internet

Avoid this place if you can. It's clean but incredibly noisy at all hours and they overcharged us for everything.

Sandpiper is clean and owner is helpful, but there is constant noise from the bar next door and from neighbourhood dogs. Also, we were over charged $20 for our room which is really depressing after what we had to put up with in this neighbourhood.

Juanita and Rodney keep the grounds and facilities immaculate. Since I was here a year ago, they added hard walkways that reduce tracking sand into cabanas. Excellent. They are both really nice and quite knowledgeable. Fix your own food or eat out easily. There is a quirk in one otherwise nice cabana: one person must crawl across the bed to get in or out --- annoying if you aren't agile. BUT, where will you get such a good story to tell at home?! Their cabanas have SPACE to put and dry things.

Operation managed by a local family who are kind and attentive. Rooms have A/C and are very clean and comfortable. I love supporting the local population instead of giving my money to the resorts, and I was very happy to support Juanita's family on my visit! Thank you.

Juanita and Rodney run an amazing 3 cabana set up. Not only are they gracious and attentive it's the cleanest beach on the north side of Hopkins.
