The Radisson is a great place to stay as you come and go from Belize. The service is good and it is in a safe section of town. One can walk a few blocks to see street vendors. The hotel has a paid airport shuttle or there are taxis across the street. Wifi is free and works well. There are two outdoor pools.

Carpet in the rooms desperately need to be replaced! Something needs to be done about the birds (split tail grackles) outside the rooms at night because they are very noisy and make it hard to sleep. Otherwise the accommodations were ok. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I really appreciated the filtered water refill station next to the lobby.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Jason was very warm and accommodating. Restaurant in hotel was adequate (get the delicious French toast not waffles for breakfast); and definitely not the link sausage. Wasn't sure what meat that was. It was nasty. We only ordered from a la carte breakfast menu not the buffet (the eggs were too runny for my tastes) or any other meal to be fair. Enjoyed dinner from nearby restaurants.Was able to book a great tour through a helpful staff named Jierney(?) directly through the hotel. Hotel is in Convenient location. You can walk to the ferry. It overlooked the Caribbean Sea which was nice with beautiful views and beautiful exotic fresh flowers in common areas. Unfortunately the ocean water was gray. A big let down for a beach bum. They said it was because of all the rain they got but I heard conflicting statements. Had to take the ferry to Caye Caulker to see beautiful green water. Overall a great stay. High marks for hospitality.

Excellent menu options and variety of drinks available. Great for meeting potential clients and investors to not only be friendly and sociable but to display the level of warmth that is truly Belizean hospitality. A great place to avoid all the congestion.

We ate dinner at the restaurant (not Baymen Tavern unfortunately) and had one of the worst dining experiences of my life. Service was inattentive, the food was awful (Caesar salad had soggy croutons, the Pepper steak was supposed to be tenderloin but was rib eye, the server agreed it should have been but just said "that's the meat," fries were reheated/not good, the steak sauce had a film on it from being microwaved and they made us choose two sides in addition to the salads we already ordered instead of doing one salad and one side as we preferred). Eat anywhere else for your own sake.

Radisson is my to do to place when you arrive in Belize city I highly recommend stopping into Radisson for a nice drink,conversation before starting out on your adventure.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Food and service are excellent. Couldnt ask for more. The only issue is the noise from the street. The weekends are noisy as party goers rev their engines in the area. Other than that i am pleased. Its my home away from home☺

Comfortable place to have a decent meal at the Bar or in the pool area. There are more than one places to eat, I was in the Bar area, had fish n chips- gotta love the hot sauce served in Belize- Sharps?

Stay in the main building only. The rest is very outdated - loud AC, so so rooms. The newer building seemed much better but we weren't in those rooms. Overall a nice place. Petite cafe has cheap tasty items.

Very nice and clean, the staff were very friendly. Two pools, a cafe plus a restaurant, and it was close to everywhere I needed to go. I would be very happy to go back there again.

For supposedly the best hotel in Belize city, I'm not impressed. It's difficult to get what you specifically want such as items from the room service menu. They always seem to "not have that right now". The villa wing is smack next to a night club that REALLY blasts you until late. Even here, as in much of Belize city, you need to watch money transactions CLOSELY. And yes I realize it's "third world" but it reminds me too much of the way things were in the Philippines in the past.

Great place to stay for tourist that are staying in the marina. Staff is very accommodating and friendly and you get get all of the excursions you want from the hotel. Room was very nice and the A/C was super cold. The indoor bar was really nice overlooking the ocean.

If you're coming to stay in Belize City this is really the only place with civilized amenities on property. Belize city is NOT a "tourist" destination but merely a cruise ship "port stop".

The Radisson is walking distance to that area that caters to the cruise ship passengers for bars/ restaurants/ trinket shops etc as well as the water taxi to the islands, and only that.These shops open at 8 and closes at 4 sharp! it becomes quite a ghost town after the ships depart for the day and leisurely walking after dark, I wouldn't recommend. We only stayed one night on our way to San Pedro, the staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and what it has to offer. We had a pool/ ocean view which was quite lovely. The beds we comfortable, room was VERY clean. Nice TV with many American channels (if you're staying in your room) The ceiling fans and the AC worked fine and we had plenty of hot water in a decent size bathroom, the wifi worked just fine. I did think it was a bit pricey for what it offered as far as amenities but it's safe and it's not a total dump. But, DONT expect a four seasons or ritz Carlton decor nor amenities upon arrival. All in all, if I had to return to Belize city, I would stay here again.

Be very cautious at the bar here They tend to overpriced their drinks. During Happy Hour the menu explicitly had $15 per draft beer pitcher, yet when the bill arrived they claimed it was $30. Made phone calls the next day and found out it was indeed $15. Look elsewhere for Happy Hour service.

Paid around 240 USD for one night. They told me I would have a balcony and a seaview. No balcony no seaview. Ice machine on floor did not work. Went to the bar at around 10 PM. Hardly anyone in there. Took 15 minutes to get a drink and even then the bartender got it wrong. In the morning I went down for breakfast, had an omelette and one filtered coffee and left. They came running after me to pay my bill. I said you gotta be kidding! I pay almost 250 bucks for a room for one night and you want me to pay for Breakfast? I complained all the way to the front desk where they were highly unapologetic. I paid and left. Will be bad-mouthing Radisson wherever I go. Utter nonsense. Avoid this place !!!

OK, I'll start with the good. The rooms in the tower (the 6 story glass walled structure) are very nice and clean. Ours came with a fridge, extra bar sink and beautiful panoramic view of the bay. The staff, although slow to acknowledge us, was very friendly once they did.

However, and this could just be a Friday night and 2nd floor of tower thing, but it's at least definitely both of those You will need earplugs if you want a good night's sleep!
First, the pool bar has a DJ and many of the locals come for the fun. They park along the seawall right outside our windows . I don't know what time the pool party officially ends, but the party in the parking lot, with low base thumping music from car stereos lasts well into the morning.
Second, We must be the lucky ones to have the only ice machine in the entire hotel on our floor right next to our room. The provided metal ice buckets make for a really nice and loud CLANKING sound as they fill. But that's not the worst of it! The door to the ice machine room SLAMS shut. So twice per person. Once when they go in, and once when they leave. So, all night, it's SLAM, CLANK CLANK CLANK, SLAM. And I mean all night long. Who needs ice at 3, 4 or 5 am?!

Anyway, I'm sorry Radisson, but I won't stay here again, especially not at $200+++ a night.
