  Our visit to Maya Hill Lodge was great! Our vacation plans were to explore western Belize and Cayo area. The location was right in the middle of all must-see attractions. We went ziplining, swam in waterfalls, visited area resorts, ruins and the nearby town of San Ignacio.
  
  We stayed in the Villa Hummingbird-which was perfect for the two of us. Monika was a great host. She was very attentive and helped us arrange our day trips. We even got an extra day (because of snow back home) and drove over to the coast and visited Hopkins and Palencia.
  
  I would definitely recommend Maya Hill and plan to return someday soon!

  I stayed in this lovely place for few weeks, exploring Western Belize. It is a wonderful new house, lot of space, more then expected after I saw the pictures. No noise from the highway or neighbours, only parrots in the morning. Monika, the owner, is giving lots of support and help. Will come back to this wonderful place soon.

  Beautiful place for vacation! The staff was so friendly, open-hearted and helpful!
  The property is nicely arranged, fruit trees and blooming flowers invite for a stay, the little picnic-area with a barbecue and hammocks invites to relax. The guesthouses are high-quality and elegant provided, the kitchens are fully operative and equipped with everything necessary. Every room has a ceiling fan and Villa Tucan is stocked with three additional air conditioning units. It's a thrilling experience to take an open-air shower in the morning with parrot-twittering around you.
  It's only a short walk to the Belize River and property is centrally located but nevertheless it's quiet. In the middle of Belmopan and San Ignacio, you need a 25 minute drive with a rental car or 40 minutes with the public bus, which stops at the driveway to Maya-Hill-Road.
  In close vicinity you can find nice, little restaurants built in characteristic local style. There is a wide choice of belizian and mexican kitchen, mixed with well smelling and fresh ingredients. A lot of attractions are located nearby.
  I really can recommend this place for having unique vacation in Belize!

  Über die unbeschreibliche Ruhe braucht man nichts zu schreiben. Auch das fabelhafte Wetter ist obligatorisch. Bleiben also nur die exzellente und sympathische Gastfreundschaft sowie die makellosen Villen zu nennen. Immer wieder gern. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit 👍
