I rated this only a 4-Star only because the Blue Hole is crowded most of the time. Would be great if you can catch it when it’s not crowded. Wonderful place to swim and cool off. It’s mostly shaded so no need for sunscreen (infact don’t use any here due to the environment). Plenty of parking nearby. Overall very nice and worth the entrance fee at the park’s main desk, not to any guy standing here. You don’t need a tour guide if you have a car. It’s on the main highway and easy to find.

There’s a nice hike from the Sleeping Giant Lodge to a gazebo at the top of the hill. Great view of the area at the top. Don’t hike on a rainy day as the trail is steep.

St Herman’s cave is full of mosquitoes and you can only see the first 100 ft if you don’t have a guide so not worth it.

We hiked to the cave and through the cave. It was a beautiful hike. The cave was neat. We then went over to the blue hole for a swim. It was very pretty and fun to swim in.

Beautiful nature, but the blue hole itself is nonsense. Overrated.

Nice little park with trails, interpretive signs & displays, and a refreshing blue pool for cool dips on hot days. The water is not especially cold.

This is a wonderful place as it is situated just 200 ft. off the Hummingbird Highway. It is a sinkhole filled with water that reaches to unknown depths. You can bring your bathing suits and take a dip in the warm water. From the blue hole is a trail leading to St. Herman's Cave, an extensive cave system.

It's amazing that you can go to a place like this on the side of the road. Water was so refreshing, and it's really paradise!

Great swimming hole. Water is fed from an underground river so it's pretty cold. Go after a guided hike thru St Herman's Caves around the corner.

Nice place to take in nature and a swim. The water is COLD. If you bring some bread the fishes will come right to the surface to grab the pieces of bread. On a Saturday morning there were on about 8 people at the hole.

Challenging hike through muddy forest! Refreshing water at the end. Brown vs blue in rainy season

This place is beautiful. The swimming is excellent. A good time for the entire family. Bring sandals because the water is shallow in most spots..

Went on a tour of the Crystal Cave with a guide named Walter. He was awesome and showed us through the cave, explaining the history of the cave, the artifacts and human remains found inside, and the rock formations throughout. It's very physically challenging, and the caving might be too scary for some people to attempt – but everyone in our group loved it. Don't wear anything you don't want to sacrifice to the cave, as it'll get mud stained. I recommend wearing pants and shoes with grip, like hikers. Lunch and swimming in the cenote at the end of the tour was a nice relaxing way to end the tour.
