If you like Mexican bolero at 2am, if you don't mind trouble with booking, and if dog barking is your lullaby then this place might be the perfect for you.

I booked this hotel so I would be in walking distance from the water taxi but they never booked me for the full time I was staying. Now I have to stay at another location and that will cost me a taxi fare to get to the water taxi dock. In addition, nearby dogs were barking half the night. I was forced to use ear plugs to be able to sleep. In their favor, the place is clean and the people are really friendly. They would have gotten 4 stars if not for the booking mixup.

Third stay in 4 months a gem of a place with management and staff who are always looking for little ways to improve the service and hospitality. I highly recommend Bella Sombre.

Clean. AC, mini fridge, microwave, and some plates/cups/forks in room to use. Lady at the front desk was nice. Had shampoo and conditioner in the shower too.

This is fine for a night in Belize City. Clean with air con and friendly service. Close to downtown, several restaurants, shops and ATMs nearby. Would really benefit from a communal area though - like some hammocks on the unused roof terrace space.

This place is exactly what was promised with modern air conditioning. The front staff were friendly and super helpful in helping me resolve an issue when I left my laptop on my flight.

Es un hotel para pasar una noche. A la hora de reservar tener en cuenta que hay dos, uno en el centro y otro alejado, cerca del aeropuerto. El del centro está mejor ubicado, el otro estaba en obras en febrero de 2017.

Best place to stay in Belize city the staff very friendly Best price $$$ the rooms r clean an have refrigerator an microwave I stayed 3 days downtown. And 5 day at the kings park location it's only a 5 minutes walk to little airport to go San Pedro n Caye Caulker

Smells a little musty when you first walk in. Once you turn in the AC and the room cools down, it's not so bad.

This a good location if your staying in the North Part of Belize. Just a few minutes walk to banks and shopping and a few minutes walk to the water taxi to most of the popular islands. The rooms are nice and the bathrooms are excellent.
