  I love little airports! Great last minute shopping and a nice bar to relax before your flight. Can't miss a flight since they take off right outside the door!

  I was here in 1991 and it was a lot smaller then, basically just an airport taxi service and that was it, with no other services. Flew to and from Ambergris Caye from here a number of times and the plane ride was fun but nicknamed the "white knuckle ride"!! I actually sat next to the pilot on a couple of occasions which was fun, a full plane was in total 6 passengers lol beautiful place, beautiful people but don't get a taxi service called Paddys Taxis!! We were dropped off at the wrong side of town in Belize City (we think on purpose) and we're nearly mugged by Rastas, but fortunately an American soldier in an army jeep picked us up after we flagged him down and took us to his home then back to our hotel the Belize Biltmore Plaza thankfully. He said the taxi driver had dropped us off at the wrong side of town and not the touristy part, and told his friends, so we were basically set up for a mugging!! We were lucky but everyone please be careful and alert! Other than that our holiday was amazing, including a dive down the Blue Hole 😊 hoping to go back again next year but won't be using Paddys Taxi Service that's for sure!!

  I love flying to the islands from here. This is a very unique landing spot as the runway drops off into the sea on both ends.

  Older but well kept international airport. Good restrooms and wifi available. Needs more eating places. Overall a good place to hangs out before the flight!

  Always seems busy, but it functions more as an air taxi terminal than a high powered airport. Very nice staff that kept the lines moving. Very limited seating inside but a nice patio area.
