It wasn't bad, but Amigos is better. Their ship is better and you spend 80% of the day on the ship so it matters. Amigos has a BBQ on board so almost positive the lunch would be better. With Aqua, lunch wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. In the island we stopped at for lunch, we weren't allowed to go to the bird sanctuary. I felt the crew was more worried about getting back on time to stop working than to provide us with an optimal experience. The crew wasn't bad either, but some of them, customer service is not their foretay.

Very nice and knowledgeable with high quality equipment and fair prices. We did our open water diver certification here and we felt well informed and had 4 amazing dives!

I'm a novice diver, but our Aqua Scuba guide was very knowledgeable and I felt safe and comfortable during our dive. I can't wait to return and experience more diving in Belize!

Even after our cruise ship was late arriving and our flight over being delayed, putting us 2.5 hrs behind schedule, they were fantastic working with us and were able to get us out on a two tank dive in less than two hours and still got us to our flight back to Belize city on time to catch our ship. The dives were spectacular and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

These guys were awesome! We booked the Blue Hole trip late the night before, and they were super helpful getting everything together for us. The actual trip was also run very, very well. We were 1 driver and 1 snorkeler and we both found the gear was in excellent condition, and the guides did an excellent job with pre-briefs and made sure everyone was safe and happy. Manuel was particularly funny and made sure everything ran smoothly. I'd dive with Aqua Scuba again for sure!

Please do yourself a favour and use someone else like Frenchies or Belize dive service.

Aqua scuba is just terrible. They are only interested in your money and care nothing of your enjoyment. They rush the entire day just so they can get you back to the dock and take your money. They really put a bad taste in your mouth about the Blue Hole and the Light House reef which really is spectacular diving. IT JUST ISN'T RIGHT WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

I am a PADI Dive master and I was shocked at the level of zero interest given by the crew. These guys have no interest in your enjoyment, they just want your money. The entire day I felt rushed and the entire boat of guests were treated poorly. This company is the definition of a cattle boat. Just no service from the crew and they treat you like meat.

Here is what you can expect because these guys have the whole day down to a strict formula of customer frustration

6:30 am pick up Caye Caulker. DROP OFF IN SAN PEDRO around 5pm. You take a water taxi back to caye caulker paid by them.

I booked through a Caye Caulker shop called Black Durgeon. They keep 80 BlZ for "Park fees" and put the rest of your money in an envelope to give to the captain.

Cost $240 USD - $580 BLZ - paid in cash to captain in an envelope as soon as the boat arrives to pick you up. The guy doesn't even introduce him self just asks the group of cheerful divers for the money and counts it in our face then tells us to get on the boat. Felt very off putting since this was the very first encounter with the crew. by the way they were late by 15 min

All this being said. The blue hole and the two dives were great diving and it made up for the non existent service and the rushed dives.

I do not know how there are so many positive reviews on here. Most people must be used to poor service which is terribly sad. I was trained to be cheerful, fun, helpful, and informative with my guests looking out for their best interests and enjoyment. These guys were the complete opposite of that not caring at all and just transporting you with a grumpy look the whole day, like you were in the way of them getting back to the dock and being on their way with your money. They really put a damper on my entire blue hole experience.

I give 2/5 stars because they did deliver what was promised. But they just did it in such a rushed and terribly rude manner that I am still shaking my head about it.

Spend your money with another company these guys are awful.

Best Dive Center in San Pedro. Very professional and more than 20 years of experience. Great for visiting the Blue Hole for both snorkelers and divers. Hol Chan Trip is always beautiful and goes everyday! they offer scuba courses for certification as well. The dive masters are so experienced and they have knowledge to back it up. a must see place if your into diving or looking for a new experience.
