Mayan Ruin Tours From San Pedro Ambergris Caye Belize – We were on San Pedro for a few days and decided on this excursion after a few days of diving. Waking up early for the first water taxi was challenging, but we all made the first water taxi to Belize City. Glenford was at the water taxi waiting for us. We grabbed a few snacks and headed north for the ruins of lamanai. We drove approximately an hour to the boat. We had a short restroom break and boarded the boat for slow paste river cruise to the ruins. We saw a lot of wild life along the river as cruised. We saw iguanas, howler monkeys, a wide variety of native birds, and some large crocodiles. When we arrived at the ruins we slowly hiked through the jungle from one temple to the other as our tour guide told us about the history and plants of the area. The tour of the sight lasted almost 3 hours. We then had lunch under a nicely built shed. Lunch was home cooked rice with the richest chicken I ever had. We were also served with sodas ( No alcohol because it’s a family friendly tour service ). After lunch we were given some time to walk around the shopping area and headed back to where we started. The boat ride back was exciting. It was a fun day of mayan tours and river cruise. Highly recommended

Cave Tubing, Zipline, and Altun Ha Ruins is an amazing tour. It was full day of fun. My family had a great experience. We will be using Action Boys Tour services on our next Ambergris Caye vacation.

If you want to see some Mayan ruins while in Belize, Lamanai is the place to go, it's like three tours in one. My family and I visited Belize via cruise ship and our tendering process was slow but still made the 6 hour tour in the 8 hour time we had at port. Our trip got started very smoothly, our tour guide Donald was one of the best, extremely friendly and easy going and exceptionally knowledgable of his country, the river, and the Mayan civilization. Our bus ride gave us a view of the culture of Belize while Donald involved us in a plethora of information on the country. Our boat ride gave us a view of the river culture and wildlife (bats that live in tree hollows above the waterline?!) and some interesting plants as well (snake cactus that grows in trees and wild pineapples!) as our guide knew the river like the back of his hand and could clearly navigate through it at fast and exciting speeds. And of course our tour of Lamanai was an adventure of it's own, Donald was incredibly informed in the history of the Mayan people and we learned all kinds of interesting things. We were also given a delicious and unique Belizean lunch before we began our tour, as well as cold water bottles to take with us to keep cool in the rainforest. Climbing some of the temples could be scary as the steps were very steep and looked crumbly, but the tallest temple had a rope and could be climbed, but very cautiously. The views from atop the temples were amazing, bring a camera with you! You'll also see howler monkeys asleep in the canopy above you! Overall the trip was one of my favorite experiences on my cruise and I would definately take this tour again.

Oh Boy, this is an interesting tour.We left the Islandon the 6:30am ferry to Belize and Randy met us on the dock with a sign that reads my name. Since it was 13 of us, I went free as the group leader. The ruins was a beauty, the zip lines was thrilling, and the cave tubing was very refreshing. and the good thing about it is that we were not ripped off. We paid only $150.00 per/ person for three tour in one day. An extra $5.00 for lunch. It was well worth the lunch too.

Myself and some friends vacationed in San Pedro and did a few dives. It was fun fun fun!!!. We took a day off diving for an adventure of cave tubing, zip line, and xunantunich ruins with this company. Donald Ramirez was our tour guide. He was informative and a fun person to spend the day with. Lunch was fantastic. Loved the tour very much and recommend it to all.
