A nice set of sites, easy self drive, we saw lots of great bird life, jackals, lion, tons of elephants and the most amazing display of Ostrich mating with crowds of over 20. We had a bull elephant we named "Timothy" walk right through our camp a few times. He was sort of a fixture liked to hang around near the ablutions drinking run off.

I stayed only one night at the South Camp in Nxai Pan, but it was definitely worth going. Hundreds of zebras had migrated to Nxai Pan in January and were around the Campsite. The Campsite itself was good and many trees provided shade. The absolution was clean and protected by an electrical fence to keep the elephants off.

Well ordered and shaded campsites with clean ablutions. Excellent location near the entrance to the park and right on the pan, great for self-drive game viewing. The park staff were attentive and facilities were well maintained, except for faulty light bulbs in the ablutions.
