Botswana was an amazing experience from the start. Phakalane lodge was totally unexpected. This is incredibly spacious from its huge land size. Quiet and enjoyable. The apartments we stayed in were great and the spaces between different apartment blocks and hotels prevents you from having congestion. There was a fair amount of distance between our room and the restaurants. The breakfasts and dinners had good selections and evenings at the lake were the most relaxing and enjoyable. This is definitely an experience for a couple. There is also a golf course which seems extremely underused.

Spent a week at this place. The place is actually overrated. Staff are not very friendly. My first day there I had issues with the television. Contacted reception who then sent a technician to assist. I was inconvenienced for at least 45 mins whilst he fiddled with the TV and decoder. He left and returned after quite some time. No apology for basically wasting my time. Should this not be on their checklist?

Great location and occasionally you can see some monkeys. It is a great place to live if you're staying in Botswana. The place is safe and highly guarded. I really enjoyed the frappachino at the local coffee shop inside the clubhouse.

This place is very luxurious, tranquil and perfect for getting away from all the daily buzz of city life. Very relaxed environment. Great food at their restaurants. You don't need to leave the estate for anything during your stay.

WiFi not working for a whole day and front desk staff seems not fit for a supposedly 4 stars rooms size small for a 4 stars hotel.
But good breakfast and really nice environment and greenery zones

The place is so nice. One of the best presidential hotels in Botswana and best in Gaborone. But the room service is very poor. They Wil force u to pay instantly even if u tell them u Wil pay tomorrow at the reception when u check out.
