Absolutely amazing place, we slept in the tents and the elephants visited us later. No keys required in this tranquil place. Bar and restaurant staff are amazing and food is traditionally african. A must visit at least once in your life.

This was an amazing experience for us. So close to the elephants you can almost touch them. And sleeping outdoors in the safari tent was also incredible.

What a superb place! The people who work there are stars of the hospitality industry! well done! The camp is in the most beautiful place as wildlife moves through there regularly! The evening buffets are out of this world delicious!
I would definitely recommend doing the bush walk, getting to see bushveld from a whole new perspective like that is amazing! The guides knowledge is incredible too!

All of this was had from a very accessible price of P100 per person per night in the campsite!

Had the most amazing experience being so close to wild elephants. The accommodation is lovely and the staff are very friendly. We went on a game drive that was superb, the guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a fantastic experience and will definitely be back

Elephants sands is a truly incredible place. We got in mid-afternoon and set up our tents (we didn't go the cabin route), and grabbed a beer at the bar. Dinner was on the patio with a group of 6-8 elephants. Pretty great experience overall

An excellent place to start your Botswana trip. Laid back atmosphere, plenty of terrace space to have a drink and enjoy the elephants joining you, up close and personal. The facilities and restaurant are okay, but don't expect anything luxurious (which you shouldn't do anyway when travelling through Botswana on a reasonable budget). I can't say anything about the bungalows they offer, we used the camping spots during our stay.

This place sucks. If all you want to do is see elephants drink water and you don't care about getting your money's worth from the facilities and restaurant, you'll enjoy it here. Otherwise, find somewhere else. No hot water, unfriendly, unhelpful staff. Food is pricey, and not nearly enough for all the guests.

This is the best elephant hotel I stayed in. There were so many elephants here drinking from the watering hole that you need people to walk you to your living quarters. I could watch them all day and they are gigantic! We were so close to them but they didn't bother us at all. Absolutely magnificent place.

We pulled into here at dusk in the middle of a car rally and a school vacation weekend. Mike and his wife were kind enough to find us a place to park our camper with no reservations.
The best was yet to come as we had no idea about the watering hole, the fire-pit viewing area and the constant parade of elephants for hours during our evening here.
To top things off we ran into two delightful young women my wife and I had visited with at Victoria Falls earlier and had a warm and eventful evening watching the elephants come down to water.
This place is a "can't miss" camping spot and deserves the highest praise.
I was so caught up in the moment that I forgot to take a single picture of the elephants during the evening and the next morning the watering hole was empty.

The staff are doing a great thing here. Elephants from all around the area come to drink water and it isn't fenced, which allows them to roam freely and even come from Zimbabwe. The campsite could do with a bit more shade, but then the elephants might just great the trees down. The ablutions are very clean and the showers are great. The atmosphere around the fire in the evening is a good plus.
