The park itself is such a fantastic and unexpecting place!! I didn't know what I was entering when going through the gate. It is fairly informal at the entrance and little featured in travel magazines.
The pans currently have water and were so stunning to look over, the birdlife and wildebeest was awesome to see too.
Truly a must-do when in the area.
I'm not sure about the accommodation though. But camping and chalets are available.response / report this review -

I love this Sanctuary as it consist of all bird species that anyone might not aware of it has plenty of wetlands that doesn't dry for a years with beautiful grasses making good patterns,and the animals like wildbeast ,springboks,hyenas,etc it's a big place that holds the annual Makgadikgadi epic event which consists of different events mainly of sky diving, game viewing, boat cruise, motor rades

Been there yesterday. Part of the pan was flooded. Saw some wildebeests, pelicans and other birds. Price was 50 Pula per person + 45 for the car for non residents in Botswana. The visit is worth it! Amazing landscape that reminds me of Etosha in Namibia.
