One of best stadium in architectural point of view that I have ever visited. Beautifully designed and decorated gates and entrance. Quite awesome to see the crafts and cravings. Located in Thimphu near the Centenary farmer's market. The Thimphu river just flows besides the stadium and the mountains surrounding the city gives some beautiful views from the stadium. There is also a standing Lord Buddha statue just outside the stadium, adding beauty to the whole area.

Very beautiful stadium indeed. It can be a great example of architecture. There is a scarcity of plain land to build a international stadium. It is not so easy to facilitate all facililities for an international standard stadium with land land limitation. But they make it great.

It is a beautiful and well facilitated football stadium of Bhutan. The stadium build with modern and Bhutanese traditional architecture. It organized many national and international football matches in the ground. Surrounding natural beauty of this stadium is awesome .

Nice stadium, the main stadium of Bhutan in the heart of Thimphu city. Surrounding atmosphere is really good and enjoyable.

This is the national stadium of Bhutan and people wrestle, dance and jostle to win a match on archery on one side and it's a soccer on the other side. I would suggest to visit and watch archery match to soccer and more importantly see the archers hitting the target which is 145 meters away form the shooters. The celebration of the hit with dance from the team mates, the puns and ire jokes from the opponents is one big culture of Bhutanese archery game and you must listen and learn. It's all about fun, casual and merry making. Even the Kate Middletown and prince William made a visit at this stadium and tried their hand over a Bhutanese bow and arrow.
