Very interesting and fun local market where folks buy grains, vegetables, fruits, meat. We saw lots of Indians here as temporary construction workers.

Very well organised place for daily marketing. Clean and systematically arranged shops of fruits, vegetables and various items are kept packed accordingly for sale. Meat shop is also situated here. The whole market is divided section wise. If you visit Thimphu, you should definitely take out a few minutes to visit this place and see how organised the whole market is. Quite remarkable. Thumbs up to the people here. Good going.

This place was not on our todo list but we just happened to drive by and decided to do a short visit. The market is well maintained and clean with 2 floors selling products - local and imported. You can get you fix for dried meats and chillies to fresh vegetables. The dried chillies were some of the best we've tasted but prices there are a little more than you would expect.

Just amazing. Every fruits or vegetables ,u can get here. Price is little bit high but availablity is the biggest factor.
This is near to the changlam square. And beside the RAIDAK river.
Very hygenic net clean and very cooperate sellers.

Was informed that this s a famous market, selling both local produce and imported (mainly from India). An experience for visitor s but really there is nothing much to see, just a concentration of many counters selling about the same things.

best market in Thimphu; ground floor + first floor; big market: local veggies, cheese, milk, red rice, and all the local produce; imported stuff such as dried fish from India also sold; just go there even if you don't want to buy anything; pretty clean too;
