If you’re a tourist, this is the perfect place to go to for local momo / dumpling dishes. Good selection of liquor too! And the prices are comparatively reasonable. I got to know about the place from a local cafe owner. 😇

I personally liked the steamed momos more than the fried ones which felt tad oily.🛢But to each his/her own.

Toilets are borderline usable. 😓

Best place for me to check local taste, to sit together between local people. Note: it is located in 2nd floor! Inexpensive I would say if compared to traditional tourists' places in Thimphu.

Very oily, Momo's full of maida which was not cooked well. The handmade noodles were raw. This is basically only a bar with a restaurant attached in name only.

Good place I agree but beware for if you decide to have a datsi be ready to blow out fire as the spice levels are beyond imaginable. The momos are good.

A lovely hole-in-the-wall place with great local food - the same style as Zombala (the original) but with a broader menu. The momos and chili fries are excellent- some of the best in town. (Although many debate where to find the very best Momos.) Lighting inside is softer than many places (no harsh florescent) and the staff is warm and gracious. Drink options are limited, as is common at most restaurants in Thimphu. Overall, an excellent place with a great local vibe, warm staff and great food.
