Well manicred, clean, safe, friendly environment for families and groups, restaurant, playground for children. Lots of tropical plants with chapel, pond and walkways

Visited this place as part of an excursion from our cruise ship. The place is beautiful and has a decent restaurant and bar. Unfortunately, after touring the gardens it's quite obvious that the place is greatly in need of maintenance. Most areas are terribly overgrown and all but one waterfall are no longer operable. As beautiful as the place is, it could've been far nicer if it had been maintained over the years.

Very tranquil and luscious greenery all around. A good mixture of Wildlife and the grounds are very well maintained. Was a wonderful visit thru mother nature.

Very quiet soothing place. Amazing to have a quite lunch at. Playground for kids to play on. Definitely the place to go if your a bird watcher.

The Garden of the Grove is definitely worth a visit on your trip. A variety of paths meander through the gardens and include a variety of trees and flowers, sculptures, grottoes, a chapel, and waterfalls. There are a number of waterfowl to see too. If you have kids there is a picnic area and playground to enjoy. We also got some great local tips from the owner.
We visited in the off season and nothing was in bloom, but we still enjoyed our visit. I imagine the gardens must be spectacular in the Spring.response / report this review -

While I really enjoyed walking around the gardens, the price is too much for what the gardens are which is why I am giving 3 stars. However, we received a discount because we biked from the resort instead of driving, so that may be a option for some people. The pathways at the garden were fun and we saw a bunch of different wildlife, sadly because we did not go during the tourist season the gift shops were not open. If you get a chance check out the aquaponics set up they have, Wayne will give you a nice tour and tell you all about it. P.S. try not to step on any snails :(

High prices for what the place is. Very small and under maintained, kids section very old and unwelcoming. Ponds where in bad conditions as well. I would recommend spending your time and money elsewhere.

A nice place to spend the day, it's a beautiful garden with birds 🐦 🐦 lakes, Ponds and other animals, a nice cafe' called, Garden cafe'bar and grill, and the food is good, cold Bahamian beers 🍺 🍺 also beers from around the world. You also can get souvenirs. When in Freeport Grand Bahama you have to visit there.

The price to enter was quite a little high for what the place has to offer. I was expecting to see great waterfalls, but instead they were "not out of this word". There is a restaurant/cafe inside and a small chapel.

Came here as part of a Jeep Excursion from Grand Bahamas Cruise. Very beautiful botanical garden, but it's somewhat aesthetically displeasing from the lack of maintenance and outdatedness. Food was surprisingly good, but their drinks could be a little stronger.

I came to the Bahamas for my birthday and we stopped at the garden of the groves and to be honest with you it was one of the highlights of my trip. This is such a beautiful place, the people who work here are so nice it's surreal. The food was very tasty and the drinks were just about right. Nice music, very good environment. If you ever go to the Bahamas you must come here and enjoy a day with nature while enjoying good music, great drinks and delicious food.

Garden of the Groves was an educational center to learn about the herbs and other type of natural remedies there are in order to treat the human body. The tour guide was very informative and friendly and is willing to answer questions. Very lush and green habit so a definitely must see.

Was a nice place to visit while on the island. Earlier in the day is better to go to see everything on the property. We went late and didn't get to see it all. Had lunch at their restaurant, which was pretty good.
