The food and service was excellent we enjoyed a steak dinner - 4 courses meal was cooked to perfection enjoyed drinks by the seaside bar and the pool food was definitely among the best on the island

Just spend 7 days at Tailwinds! Our second visit. Was amazing again. Most beautiful beach on Cat Island. Hiked to Man-O-War beach, rented a car and drove to Hawk's Nest. Went to Periwinkles for beers and met Evelyn the owner who kept us laughing non stop. Food was absolutely great at Tailwinds and service was awesome. We ate 6 days out of 7 at Tailwinds. Fully stocked bar. All amenities were exactly like website advertised. Staff was very helpful. Went skinny dipping at the secret beach!! Oh and the Pool is a real treat after a day in the saltwater. And your only about 40 feet from the ocean. Sandy beach for miles, great for walking and Snorkeling. We Snorkeled around several coral reefs and saw thousands of fish right on the beach by Tailwinds. We stayed in the Flap House villa and could lay in the bed and see the water and listen to waves. Everything was very clean and well stocked. WiFi was a little slow but worked. Nice chairs on the wooden deck for lounging around napping or reading. Make sure you order the ribeye steak, curry chicken and fish of the day. We had breakfast & lunch served at the tiki bar which is right on the beach under coconut trees! We will be back!
