I've lived here for a short while now. Most expats predominantly the americans are racists and are blatantly nasty to anyone of colour. The environment is nice enough but too much bullshit - no one pays attention to the rules. People let their dogs poop on your lawn, they cut your lawn when it's suitable to them - screw it if your child is asleep. It's not worth the extra $1000 over priced rent - well except if ypu're white.
