Fun on-the-harbor restaurant that caters to both locals and island visitors.
Big bar, friendly hostess and great table service.

Sat at the downtown poopdeck by the marina. Nice views. Service wasn't the best until we got an older lady. She was great! Always had a smile on her face and was welcoming. Food was over priced and not that good

We have been to the Cove @ Atlantis 5x. Three of those times we have visited the poop deck. Each experience has been worse and worse. We will not be back. Sometimes the charm of a small restaurant is lost when it gets too big. Slow service, and average food. Just stay at Atlantis or check out the fish fry.

Easy walk from Atlantis over the Sidney Poitier Bridge. Right on the water. Casual with a great view. Order the conch salad. Daily specials of fish and lobster. Also apparently have a happy hour at the bar only. Friendly service and great local quality good with non resort pricing.
Also a location in downtown bit this is better.

Love the view and the food! Definitely a must try when staying at Atlantis. We walked the bridge over and I'm thankful because we were completely stuffed after dinner and need to walk it off. The bartenders are also super nice so if you are thirsty at least stop in for a drink.

I’ve been going to Nassau on vacation for years and this place was recommended to me by an old coworker who went there thirty years ago on a sailing trip. So finally this time we decided to try it out as it is a short walk across the bridge from Atlantis.
If you like seafood or want to try authentic Bahamian cuisine, you must give the Poop Deck Nassau a try (Have not tried the Sandyports location). The staff here is extremely nice, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Tracy explained to my son and me how we choose our fresh catch and the many ways they can cook it.
The food is the best I’ve tried in Nassau. If you like crab, try their stone crab as it is very rare and sweet. We have since been back twice and will be going again every night for the rest of our stay. Thank you to all the staff who genuinely enjoyed playing with my kids especially my two year old, you guys rock.

The price of the food is a little pricey but good portion. In Bahamas they add the tip on your order I don't like that at all. They have good scenery.

We got in during the mid-afternoon lull and had a quiet and delightful meal overlooking a harbor full of pleasure boats and work boats Our waiter Troy was incredible. The food was served promptly and hot we shared a starter of Conch Fritters followed by grilled fresh prawns for m'Lady and Grouper Fingers for me. It was all outstandingly delicious. This is our first visit to the Caribbean Islands and we wanted to try the Peas and Rice as a side dish. When I asked if the Rice and Peas was distinctly Bahamian, Troy quickly told me that Rice and Peas is from Jamaica but Peas and Rice is from the Bahamas, that the Peas must go in the water first to make it authentic! Thanks Troy!

We called and were told there was no wait. Once we got to the restaurant it was 40 minutes to be seated. We sat down an hour later. We received atrocious service during the meal. We weren't checked on for drinks and one of the eight people in our party didn't get there meal until after we notified them twice that her meal wasn't here. After the 2 hours and 45 minutes that had passed we had to negotiate a discount then left the restaurant. The food was actually fairly good but the service was the worst I have received in over a decade.

It has amazing food and I loved it. I went with my brother and he loved it he said the food was great and i will go there again in a heart beat. I love the name but a lot of people think it is disturbing but it is really part of a ship.

Genuinely a spectacular experience. From choosing your own fish to the flavor they managed to infuse in it. Great experience. Not incredibly cheap, but not outrageous. Will definitely come back. Thanks!

March 22 2017 Went there on our cab drivers referral, Service was good (Thomas our waiter) Ordered the NY Steak with mushrooms and fried onions, veg and fries. Tasted good, howeverI didn't expect to get Sick an hour after eating. Terrible feeling. Not happy with the Managers response (Brenda Marshall). They didn't want to go out of there way to make me feel better about what happened. Remember folks they don't have the same Health Standards as we have in Canada.

The fish of the day (snapper whole) blackened was out of sight amazing. The conch chowder was not. Conch salad (think ceviche but a little chewier) was good and a large helping as far as a salad app is concerned.

Great place to have a business lunch. The fish is fresh as can be. This place is a staple in Nassau and its for a reason. The prices are pretty steep so be mindful.

First visited here 25 years ago on holiday from th UK. The food and atmosphere were the same and as good as the first time. Any restaurant that is still going for this time must be worth a visit.
