Working in Port Lucaya, it is hard to find healthy options and Daddy Brown's does not make it easier. If you are looking for great native Bahamian meals, this is certainly a place to visit while in the Port Lucaya Marketplace. Meals are very affordable and tastes really good. He make everything right before your eyes which is highly informative of everything you are about to eat and gives you some entertainment. The wait is not long, but lines can get long when a lot of tourists are visiting the island.

Daddy Brown's Conch Stand is simple and delicious. He serves fresh lightly fried conch, lobster, conch salad and conch fritters fresh off the boat. The lobster and conch were caught that morning. The servings are generous. You will not be disappointed. There are no white table cloths here. You walk up, place your order which is not cooked until order is placed, wait just a few minutes and lightly breaded and lightly fried to perfection golden deliciousness is served.

We asked the locals because we want to eat their favorite and they pointed us to this stand. Daddy Brown is friendly and even managed to crack some jokes while preparing our food. The line formed very quickly after we ordered. He had the freshest lobster, fish, shrimp and conch salad. Definitely a MUST GO if you are in the area.

The best Conch salad we found. made fresh and awesome as made, but if you use restraint and save it for the next day, it is that much better. The fried Lobster tail is also unbelievable. Daddy Conch also has awesome fried Conch. Make it a lunch or dinner "must go" as it is by far the best value in Port Lucaya.

The best conch on Grand Bahama Island. Friendly, fast service. Always made fresh, right before your eyes. It's where all the local restaurant staff go for conch!
