  Wish I could add something of a positive here, but it just wasn't a great experience. I heard so many good things prior to visiting for Tuesday evening's dinner so I was really excited to bring the kids. Unfortunately, service was slow and unorganized. Although it was very informal (which I completely expected), the table wasn't all served at once, the quality of the food was okay, but nothing spectacular. Overall, it wouldn't be a bad place to grab a beer on the beach, but not one I would recommend in any kind of busy time for the establishment.

  Very nice and original place to eat fresh and very delicious food (fish and seafood) and have some drinks for a fair price. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is "Bahamian" 😊

  Really overpriced. Just paid $15 for $2 worth of chicken and 10 cents worth of grocery store BBQ sauce. The location and Bernie's friendly demeanour are this place's only redeeming values.

  If you ever find yourself looking for a great meal in Freeport definitely give this place a try. The hut is situated right off the beach so you have a wonderful view while you eating. It's obviously nothing fancy, just good food, music, and the ocean in the background.
