New Concept at pool it outstanding. Walk up from water pool bar is a party point. We stayed at TheReef in a suite but would party by day at Corral. Food by pool is quick and delicious. Amazing signature drinks are available. Corral is definitely the PARTY SPOT.

We booked a family Christmas vacation to Atlantis 10 months in advance. To say we were excited was an understatement. Our children are 15, 10 and 8 years old. Upon check in our reservations were incorrect and we were booked for a single room. After a very long discussion the clerk found a room in the Coral Tower that had double beds. We were exhausted from being up for over 14 hours traveling but we were hopeful that the slight bump in the road was the only one however it wasn’t.
Our vacation would seem to be plagued with minor yet annoying problems that have in totality ruined this vacation. We set up our room key to charge the first night only to be told after trying to purchase lunch the next day at the water park that it wasn’t. We also were told that our water park wristbands that were programmed to our card was not working properly either. We would have to go the front desk to get it all sorted out.
At the water park my son was stung by one of the many bees that swarm the pop machines. When pouring the pop and ice from the machine you had to dodge the swarming bees as well as dump dead bees out of your soda that had crawled into the machine and were forced out by your soda selection. We were fortunate enough that none of our kids are allergic to bee stings but I pity the person who is. If that is you be sure to have your epi-pen handy.
We also seemed to be troubled with room key issues almost nightly. I failed to mention that our new room was past the library and on the 3rd floor of the Coral Tower a very lengthy walk from the lobby. Three nights in a row we returned to our room around 11:30pm to find our key was not working. My husband would trudge all the way back to the lobby to get a new key so that we could enter our room.
The icing on the cake so to speak was Christmas morning. Our kids received new phones as gifts and were excited to set them up. Unfortunately the WiFi is free for the first 4 devices only. After trying to disconnect our pre-existing phones and speaking to IT we were told we would have to purchase a $22 /phone WiFi if we wanted to use the new phones even with our old phones no longer on the system.
We are scheduled to leave Thursday but will be check out in the morning. This place has been horrible and we will never be back. It is an overpriced resort with rigid and non helpful staff.
Save your money and go somewhere else. We won’t recommend Atlantis to anyone quite the opposite.

The hotel is beautiful the city is beautiful but the thieves and the scam going on in the hotel ruins it. The whole cleaning crew is a bunch of thieves, also security in charge are on the same scam they protect them claiming that they checked the cameras and the door reader and that no one went inside but that’s not true. they didn’t want to review the videos with me. They all work together be carful with all you’re jewelleries cameras Go Pro And use a personal lock don’t use their safe. They killed the whole fun of my vacation. I hope it doesn’t happen to other people.

The renovation is outstanding. Every power outlet has 2 USB charging ports, the bathrooms are nice, each room has a fridge, the balconies are nice, the TV's are very nice and the rooms are quiet. Only complain is the coffee makers are lame, they need to upgrade to Keurig. Fear not there is a Starbucks in the lower lobby and for those like me, a Dunkin Donuts across the street.

Warning, some of the water attractions are not available due to the ongoing renovation. The best beach is on the other side of the Cove Tower. Enjoy!

Don't misplace an item - Customer service is more worried about "filling the hotel" than dealing with ISSUES in the hotel. Would not consider staying at ATLANTIS again-

This was from a stay in February 2017.

The service here is hit or miss. Some are amazing others are so-so. Overall we had more pleasant than non-pleasant experiences.
Check-in was slow; they had four stations open and one was moving swiftly and the others weren't. There were a few staff members that appeared to be in somewhat management roles and they mostly walked around and didn't help much.
The room was nice and starting to show signs of it's age, carpet needs replacing furniture needs to be replaced. The bed was comfortable and the linens were great.
Bathroom was good and so were the toiletries.
You'll be walking a lot to get anywhere as this is a sprawling resort. This isn't the place to go for a relaxing getaway as there are lots of families with children that love to get up early and run and shout in the hallway.

Obviously oldest in the set of towers. Lobby smells like cat urine and old smoke. Blecch.
