For many years one of the best dinners in Campos. Meat and Pasta Menu are great, with large portions, so was the winery as well.

We went to La Galia because we wanted a Fondue for lunch. The portion was very small, and the taste wasn't very good either. The bread was days old and, worse yet, mouldy. We got another round of tiny cold potatoes to put into the fondue and a new round of bread, but it still felt like it had been around for days already. There surely must be better places around Campos, so skip La Galia.

Muito caro e pratos pouco servidos. O atendimento é excelente, mas a comida além de cara não estava boa. O bife de chorizo veio cheio de nervos e, apesar de estar ao ponto, veio com gosto de queimado por fora. Pouca quantidade de comida para o preço que cobram, ficamos com fome ainda. Lugar muito bonito, elegante, sofisticado e caro.

Quando fui, pedi um dos pratos na "promoção" (não chamaria de promoção pelo preço, mas) e não vale o preço de quase 40 reais. Até parecia ter pratos mais caros interessantes, mas dá um certo receio se o promocionais são tão medianos.

Great Cheese Fondue.
On the second night in Campos do Jordão we decided this time to try the famous Cheese Fondue from a local restaurant and we chose the restaurant La Gália that it was a few minutes walking distance from the hotel where we were. The restaurant offered us a great service and the fondue was very yummy. We probably were comparing this place with other places we've been and we thought the portion was too small and even though it was tasty it was nothing different, but we ordered more bread and they brought it without problem. The price was also a bit expensive since the portion its not that big too but the restaurant had a very nice sophisticated ambience and it seems that the local price is usually more expensive everywhere.

Lugar aconchegante, restaurante com carnes exóticas, incluindo o javali de Asterix e Obelix. Boa carta de vinhos, pratos muito bem preparados, recomendo. Meu único medo era "que o céu caísse sobre minha cabeça"!

Dos restaurantes que eu fui neste final de semana, este sem dúvida foi o melhor. Comemos uma sequência bem servida de fondue (queijo, carne e chocolate) estava maravilhoso e muito , muito farto (se pedir, venha com fome) . Restaurante caro, mas vale o que se paga! Pois em Campos muitos exploram os turistas, subindo os preços e entregando porcaria, aqui pelo menos valeu a pena, mas repito, foi caro.

O restaurante oferece algumas carnes exóticas como javali, perdiz e avestruz. Como já tinha comido todas essas carnes resolvi pedir algo mais, digamos, comum. Pedi um frango com arroz e legumes. O molho estava um pouco salgado demais. Uma pena. As costeletinhas de cordeiro da minha esposa estavam muito boas.
