Great variety of goods, decent prices, bargaining is possible (depending on value and type of goods).
There are a lot of touristic articles, though (shirts, bags, ). I liked it!
If you would like to take any gift or handcrafted stuff, this is the right place to visit, eat some regional meal and bargain.
Good market for artisan goods, manufactured shoes, clothes, some food, etc. As you climb the stories, prices are lower. Watch your belongings. Sunday’s open until 1pm. Take the 11 bus which stops right in front of the door.
Very short and precise: a must for any tourist, who is eager for really nice souvenirs!
In the basement you find a perfect smoothy bar, where you can choose any fruit (and combination) to get a very fresh prepared smoothy
Very nice to visit, but there is cheaper places to buy. Also, the last floor is the easier place to find a better price.
Market to buy local stuff. A bit expensive.
A nice place to buy some local products, hand crafted items, souvenirs, cashew products and have good food stalls too.
The major mall in city offering a good selection of local produts, handcrafts and souvenirs.
Great place to find souvenir and regional food like the royal cashes. Earlier to buy in the firsts floors, upstairs on the high floor and ask for the prices. There have prices better than the others floor.
This is a great place to buy local products and eat at the Tapiocaria restaurant. Don't expect it to be like other famous brazilian Mercados.
At the restaurant, try the Graviola, Tamarindo or Cajá juices. These are local fruits and they are great.
Not a nice place. Lights were out when we went. The whole area is dirty and seems dangerous
It's a great public market you can find a lot of crafts and local souvenirs. This place is in the city center, so you should visit the historical city center as well. The cathedral is beside the market and is one of the biggest chuch in Brazil.
Good market place but not so much choice inside. All shops are selling more or less the same things.
