It is good that they kept the unique design of Dumont's apartment intact. Definitely worth a look for a tourist. The short film on Dumont was interesting and so were the display's of some of his belongings.

Beautiful site with a rich history and gorgeous scale replicas of Santos' creations, and the original house designed by Santos Dumont himself. The entrance fee is decent, and they offer a video (with English subtitles) that tells the true story of Mr. Dumont. This is a must-visit site for fans of aviation history. Keep in mind the stairs are steep (which is part of the original history of the house), but there is an elevator available for people who have difficulty.

Great a place to visit. The house is small but it presents you about the Santos Dumont simplicity and geniality.

Beautiful site with a rich history and gorgeous art, and the original architecture and furniture from Brazilian royalty. The price is decent. However, you can't take photos inside the main building.

This house belonged to Santos Dumont, the Brazilian flight pioneer. It tells us a little about his life, and allows us to better understand him.

the first fly! This guy was very eccentric and his house proves it! A unique way of living. Make sure you watch the video.

If you like the aeronautics and engineering you will enjoy so much this small house were everything is optimized. During the visit I felt that this house is connected with the sky.
