probably one of the most interesting plazas in this city aside from plaza murillo. its big has a small park for children, not too safe for toddlres but its nice. great place to chill plus has lots of places nearby

The Plaza Avaroa is big, has a kids park, is very well maintained, and it also has access to places to buy food. I feel it's a nice place to be because you can sit and enjoy the weather, you can feed the birds, you can meet new people, and also it's not too far in sight from another nice plaza in the north called Plaza España.

Big square. Nice and clean playground. Historical site. Favorite area for skaters. Just be careful with unleashed dogs, there is not a "clean after your pet" policy

Plaza Abaroa is a nice medium size square, which you can visit in La Paz. The best thing is that there are several places around where you can eat or take some drinks. For the weekends there are places to eat ceviche. There are places to eat very good salteñas, pizzas, ice creams, between others. During night you can find a lot of places to dinner with your couple or friends, also there you can find places to eat fast food or take a coffee or take some drinks. You must visit this place and its surroundings if you visit La Paz.
